Day 01 Delhi

Upon arrival in Delhi you will be transferred to your hotel. Delhi has been inhabited since the 6th century BC and has been the capital of many kingdoms. It has been destroyed and rebuilt many times and is called the "city of cities". The culture of Delhi has been influenced by its different rulers and the city is full of beautiful monuments. The Mughal rulers influenced the eating habits of the residents and the "Mughlai" Mughal cuisine originated here. Due to the proximity of different states, all festivals are held here. Old Delhi is a maze of small lined lanes and old buildings and New Delhi has a great road with huge buildings. Delhi is the capital of India and is the center of politics.

Day 02 Delhi - Haridwar by train. 0645/1130hrs

After breakfast, depart for New Delhi train station to take the Shatabdi Express to Haridwar destination. Upon arrival, we will pick you up at your hotel near Rishikesh. Haridwar and Rishikesh are well known places for yoga, spiritualism and meditation. There are several ASHRAMS where these activities are practiced and people come from all over the world.

The rest of the day is free for personal activities. Accommodation in your hotel.

Day 03 Rishikesh

Your whole day is free. You will find yoga and meditation activities in the hotel and also in the temples around the hotel or on the banks of the river Ganges. Accommodation in your hotel.

Day 05 Rishikesh - Haridwar/Delhi by train 0630/1115h Delhi/ Agra

Very early departure for Haridwar station to take your train to Delhi. Upon arrival, we continue to Agra.

Agra the ancient capital of Hindustan is a city on the banks of the Yamuna River. Agra is a major tourist destination in India and a part of the Golden Triangle tour along with Delhi and Jaipur. Agra also known as Akbarabad passed through its peak during the Mughals era and was the capital of the Mughal rulers Akbar, Jahangir and Shahjehan. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 06 Agra

This morning during Agra's visit, you will be taken to the Taj Mahal, one of the wonders of the world. This beautiful building is elegantly constructed of white marble by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between the years 1631 to 1648 and was built in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. Standing majestically on the banks of the Yamuna River, this impressive, immensely beautiful monument is synonymous with romance and love.

Your next stop Agra Fortress is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known for its architectural structure and was built in the 16th century during the Mughal Empire. This place is composed of several fairytale palaces such as Khas Mahal and Jahangir Palace. Here you will also have the opportunity to see Diwan-e-Aam and Diwan-e-Khas, which are also known as private courtroom and public courtroom. Agra is famous for marble inlays and handicrafts.

TAJ MAHAL IS CLOSED ON FRIDAYS.

Tonight you can opt to enjoy a show 'Mohabbat-el-Taj', a work that represents the saga of love. Shajahan's true and immortal love for his beautiful wife Mumtaj Mahal; The luxurious lifestyle of the Mughal era; Emaculate the difficulties of artisans for 22 years who created the most precious specimen of craftsmanship. Day 07 Agra - Jaipur 260kms/5hrs

You will drive to Jaipur visiting Fatehpur Sikri and Abhaneri en route.

Fatehpur Sikri built in the 16th century by Emperor Akbar. Fatehpur Sikri has an exceptional testimony of the Mughal civilization and is one of the known UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India and has several historical monuments. You will visit the Jama Masjid, followed by the tomb of Salim Chishti, the five floors Panch Mahal and Buland Darwaza a gracious monument and stupendous piece of beautiful architecture. It is a central portico with a total of three arched entrances and is known locally as a horseshoe gate. You will visit the other funny buildings of this place like Ibadat Khana, Mariam-uz-Zamani Palace, Naubat Khana and Birbal House.

Abhaneri is a village in Dausa district of Rajasthan state in India. It is located at a distance of 95 km from Jaipur, on the Jaipur-Agra road. Abhaneri was originally called AbhaNagri, which means "city of brightness", but due to the bad pronunciation, the name was changed. The city is now in ruins, but attracts tourists from all over the world.

Abhaneri is prominent for 'Baoris', Paso wells that were invented by the natives to harvest rainwater. These tanks were used as cold retreat places and as water reservoirs during the dry seasons of the year. Chand Baori is the most popular of the wells in the region, and is one of the deepest and largest in India. There are three ways to reach the water using the steps, which are divided into stories. This colossal, delicately carved well is located in front of the Harshat Mata temple. It was a ritual to wash hands and feet in the well before visiting the adjoining temple.

Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan gets its name from Maharaja Jai Singh who built this city. Many captivating palaces are present here having impressive design and architecture. In the 18th century, the Prince of Wales had visited Jaipur and the entire city was painted pink because this city is also known as the pink city. The origin of Jaipur dates back more than 260 years. Day 08 Jaipur

Today you have a full day tour of Jaipur and the Amer Fortress. In the morning we will start the sightseeing with the Amer fortress also known as the Amer Palace, the former capital of Jaipur. This magnificent fortress was built in red sand and marble by Raja Man Singh and is divided into four sections each with a courtyard. The main gateway is Surajpol with fascinating architecture. Near Ganesh Gate, there is a temple dedicated to Goddess Sila Devi. The Diwan-e-Aam - Public Audience Hall, Diwan-e-Khas - Private Audience Hall, Sheesh Mahal - Mirror Palace and Sukh Niwas are quite beautiful. In the Sukh Niwas, a pleasant climate is created by the winds blowing over a waterfall.

In Jaipur will take you to the city palace of Maharaja, a royal palace with seven floors, as well as JantarMantar, the observatory. This wonderful observatory is attracted by mathematicians as well as astronomers from all over the world. City Palace is the perfect blend of the three excellent styles (Mughal, Rajput and European). Another palace, Hawa Mahal is popular all over the world for its magnificent architecture.it will take you through pink rose garden, as well as Jaipur business centers. Day 09 Jaipur - Delhi 265kms/4h

At the time of your arrival in Delhi you will be transferred to your hotel. Today you have free afternoon. Accommodation at your hotel.

Day 10 Delhi

Today you have a full day tour of Delhi. In the morning we will start the day with views of Antigua Delhi, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1639 AD. You will visit the Raj Ghat where the father of our nation, Mahatma Gandhi was incinerated. You will visit the museum that was built to commemorate it, then photo stop beyond to the iconic Red Fort and Chandni Chowk, a very popular and crowded market in Old Delhi. Then you will visit Jama Masjid, one of India's most emblematic, historic and largest mosques - built by Shah Jahan. A rickshaw ride (optional) in Chandni Chowk could be quite interesting as this part of the city is quite full, and is full of shops. These numerous shops sell delicious food, clothes, jewelry, household items, etc. and are practically paradise for shoppers.

In the afternoon, you will visit Qutub Minar, promoted as India's largest minaret. Qutub Minar, the world heritage site, was built in 1192 by Turkish ruler Qutub-Ud-Din Aibak. It will then be moved to the tomb of Humayun, the world's other heritage site. Your next stop is the gateway to India, built in memory of the Unknown Soldier. He will then visit the parliament house, the president's house and other government secretarial buildings. Finally, you will visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple, a temple dedicated to Lakshmi and God Narayana. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 11 Delhi
