Even though you cannot fully explore all the faces of India within a lifetime, visits to the Hanging Gardens and Kamla Nehru Park, sightseeing at Ellora and Ajanta caves, and Qutub Minar - UNESCO world heritage sites could satiate your quest for a historic experience. Day 01 Arrival at Mumbai

On your arrival in Mumbai in the morning, you will be transferred to your hotel. This package starts with a city tour of Mumbai. In the afternoon, you will visit the Hanging Gardens and also Kamla Nehru Park as they both offer a panoramic and marvelous view of the Marine Drive and Chowpatty Beach. Your other visitations will include Mani Bhawan, Museum of the Prince of Wales, Gate of India and Dhobi-Ghats driving through Flora Fountain and Crawford market. You will stay overnight in Mumbai.

Day 02 265 km flight from Mumbai to Aurangabad

From Mumbai airport, you will be flown to Aurangabad. It shares proximity with world-famous caves of Ellora and Ajanta, UNESCO World Heritage Sites. On your arrival, you will be transferred to a hotel. Some of the places you will visit include Bibi Ka Maqbara (the tomb of Dilras Banu, Aurangzeb's wife), Kali and Jumma Masjid (mosques), Panchakki (a 17th-century water mill), Aurangabad Caves (12 Buddhist caves of the 3 AD), and Quila-E-Ark (a palace). You stay overnight in Aurangabad.

Day 03 km drive from Aurangabad to Ajanta and Ellora

You will tour Aurangabad city including a full-day excursion to Ajanta Caves and Ellora Caves. Ellora Caves sightseeing will take you to monasteries and temples which were excavated out of a vertical rock face. The caves are closed on Tuesdays.

For the Ajanta sightseeing, you will be taken to the Buddhist Chaityas and Viharas which have fantastic wall paintings attesting to the fluently-mastered style of the ancient Indians. Ajanta Caves are closed on Mondays. You stay overnight in Aurangabad.

Day 04 993 km flight from Aurangabad to Delhi

The journey continues as you take a flight from Aurangabad airport to Delhi, the capital of Indraprastha, the Pandavas during the Mahabharata, and many other kingdoms. On arriving in Delhi, our representative will meet and transfer you to a hotel. You will stay overnight in Delhi.

Day 05 Delhi City Tour

Your morning tour begins with Old Delhi, where you will visit the Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. You will also visit the museum built in his commemoration. You will be driven past Chandni Chowk (an Old Delhi popular and busy market) and the iconic Red Fort. You will visit Jama Masjid, one of the largest, iconic, historic mosques in India with a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk.

In the afternoon, you will visit India's most massive Minaret and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Qutub Minar. From there, to Humayun’s tomb, another UNESCO world heritage site. Your next visit is India Gate, constructed in memory of the Unknown Soldiers. Driven past the Government Secretarial Buildings including Parliament House, President’s House and some other, you will visit your final destination - Lakshmi Narayan Temple. You will stay overnight in Delhi.

Day 06 231 km drive from Delhi to Agra

You will be transferred to Agra (former capital of Hindustan) in the morning. The morning tour will take you to one of the world's wonders - Taj Mahal. Your next stop on tour is Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its architectural structure. You will view the fairy-tale Khas Mahal and Jahangir Palaces, Diwan-e-Aam, and Diwan-e-Khas. You will spend the afternoon visiting more places of interest or shopping. The transport within the city limits is at your disposal.

Note: TAJ MAHAL IS CLOSED ON FRIDAYS.

Day 07 244 km drive from Agra to Jaipur through Fatehpur Sikri

In the morning, you will be transferred from Agra to Jaipur, visiting Fatehpur Sikri along the way. You will proceed to the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti (the five-storied Panch Mahal) and Buland Darwaza - a graceful monument with a stupendous piece of beautiful architecture having three arched entrances locally known as Horseshoe gate. You will also visit Mariam-uz-Zamani's palace, Ibadat Khana, Naubat Khana, and Birbal’s house.

You will then be driven to Jaipur, the pink city which houses captivating palaces. You could spend the rest of the day visiting the Jaipur bazaars or walking down the crowded, colorful streets, with the transport within the city limits at your disposal. You will stay overnight in Jaipur.

Day 08 13 km drive from Jaipur to Amber Palace back to Jaipur

The morning journey begins from Amer fort otherwise known as Amer Palace and the earlier capital of Jaipur. This magnificent fort contains a temple dedicated to the Goddess Sila Devi, the Diwan-e-Aam (public audience hall), Diwan-e-Khas (private audience hall), Sheesh Mahal (palace of mirrors and Sukh Niwas).

You will also be taken to Maharaja City Palace, a royal palace having seven storeys, and Jantar Mantar, the observatory which has attracted mathematicians and astronomers from the entire world. You will also visit Hawa Mahal, another palace having magnificent architecture, and Pink Rose Garden. You can do a tour of Jaipur with the transport within the city limits at your disposal. You will stay overnight in Jaipur.

Day 09 143 km drive from Jaipur to Pushkar

You will be transferred from Jaipur to Pushkar in the afternoon. Pushkar is one of Hindu's most sacred pilgrimages and one of the oldest existing cities in India. Pushkar is well-known for its Camel fair as thousands of cattle and camels are traded. The transport within the city limits is at your disposal. You will stay overnight in Pushkar.

Day 10 320 km drive from Pushkar to Udaipur

In the morning, you will be driven to Udaipur from Pushkar. Udaipur is also known as the City of Lakes, or the Venice of the East and was the historic capital of the kingdom of Mewar. You can opt to have a stay in the Lake Palace hotel located in the middle of a lake. The transport within the city limits is at your disposal. You will stay overnight in Udaipur.

Day 11 616 km flight from Udaipur to Mumbai

Your tour starts in the morning with the City Palace, located on the bank of Pichola Lake. Your next stop on tour is the Jagdish Temple. You will be driven around Fatehsagar Lake. Your next stop is at Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir, one of the most renowned museums of Udaipur. Your final destination is at Sahelion ki Bari. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Udaipur airport for your Mumbai flight. Because most of the flights depart after midnight, there is no hotel included in Mumbai. Or you could, alternatively, take a flight to Delhi for your onward/return flight.
