Day 01 Arrive in Delhi.

On your arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to your hotel by a professional guide. On freshening up, you will head out for a marvelous tour across the capital of India, Delhi. The place is known for its wide range of history and legends associated with the place. It is also one of the seven union territories of India. Ranging from the Mughal dynasty to Sayyid dynasty, all infamous rulers had their Empire here. The place has a cool weather and is also the host to major events of the country such as flag hoisting on Independence Day.

Day 02 Tour of important places in Delhi. Transfer to Jaisalmer by overnight train.

The Rajasthan Train Tour will start by arriving at the Red Fort. It is an iconic Mughal fortress built in the 17th century. It is renowned for the red sandstone by which it is built. The fort is now lined with several museums. The next destination will be the glorious Qutub Minar, which is the tallest minaret in the world. The minaret was completed by Iltutmish belonging to the Sultans. Then, you will head on to the India Gate, which is a war memorial. It was once called as the “Kingsway”. Day 03 Arrive in Jaisalmer

Arrive at Jaisalmer and get transferred to your hotel. The city is known as the “Golden City of India” and was once declared as the World Heritage Site. This glorious city is built on a yellow sandstone that are home to several Jain temples. It is also connected to the Great Indian Desert, the Thar Desert. Jaisalmer was named after its ruler and founder Jaisal Singh of the Rajput Kingdom.

Day 04 Tour of important places in Jaisalmer. Transfer to Jodhpur by overnight train.

The Jaisalmer Tour begins by visiting the infamous Jaisalmer Fort. It is also known as the Sonar Quila locally. The fort is built by Rawal Jaisal. It comprises of four gateways, the main Raj Mahal, seven Jain temples, and several havelis. The next destination will be the Patwon Ki Haveli. It was a grand palace. Now, it is an extraordinary museum that provides an insight over the history of the place through artifacts, paintings, carvings, and sacred texts. Then the next destination you will be visiting is the Salim Singh Ki Haweli or Moti Mahal. It is notable for its peacock-shaped roof and beautifully designed balconies.

The Vyas Chhatri is cenotaph that belonged to sage Vyas. Here, the sage wrote the epic Mahabharata that plays an important role in the Hindu mythology. The Tazia Tower is multi-level architecture. The building has many arched doors, windows, and finely shaped features with cuts. Post tour, get transferred to railway station for train to Jodhpur.

Day 05 Tour of important places in Jodhpur.

Upon arrival in Jodhpur, get transferred to your new hotel and freshen up. In the evening, head out for a marvelous tour across the city. Jodhpur, was once a princely state. It is named after its founder, Chief Rao Jodha of the Rajput kingdom. It has wide trade routes in copper, dates, opium, and silk.

At the tour, the first stop will be at the Mehrangarh. The historic site built 410 feet above the city is home to numerous galleries, museums, and history. It also offers a panoramic view of the city from the top. The next location will be the Jaswant Thada, a memorial made up of white marble. It was built in honor of the great Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The next destination will be the Kaylana Lake. Day 06 Jodhpur to Ranakpur to Udaipur by road

Today, head out for a long drive to Ranakpur, which is a small village in Rajasthan. Here, get to witness the Ranakpur Jain temple that is dedicated to the Tirthankara Rishabanantha. The temple also shows exquisite architectural style as well. Then arrive at the Ranakpur Dam where you can see serene mountain ranges and nature around you. Then head out for the Surya Temple as well. Post journey, you will get transferred to Udaipur by road.

Udaipur famously known as the “City of Lakes” is famous city in Rajasthan. It named after its founder Maharaja Udai Sing II. The city is also the hometown of the legendary warrior Maharana Pratap. The city is connected to the Aravali Ranges and isolated from the Thar Desert. It is also a well-connected city in term of transportation facilities, ports, and trades. It is one of the more picturesque Rajput period places in Rajasthan.

Day 07 Tour of important places in Udaipur

Upon arriving at Udaipur, you will witness the Lake Pichola. The lake is a man-made lake and comprises of several island palaces. Here, you can go for boat rides that take you on a tour across the islands. Then visit the City Palace that is situated on its banks. The palace was built by Maharana Udai Mirza Singh. The next stop will be at the Jagdish Temple. The temple is a renowned Hindu temple amongst many tourists. It comprises of many intricate carvings, details, statues, and artworks. Day 08 Udaipur to Jaipur by overnight train.

You can head out for the nearby town Chittorgarh as well. The city was once the capital of a powerful kingdom, Mewar. It is situated on the banks of river Gambhiri and Berach. At Chittorgarh, you can visit places such as the Vijaya Stamba, Chittor Fort, Meera Temple, Kumbh Palace, Kalika Mata Temple, and much more.

Day 09 Tour of important places of Jaipur.

Arrive at Jaipur and get transferred to your hotel where you can relax your muscles. Then head out for a lovely journey across the city. The first stop will be the Amer Fort. The fort is situated on a hilltop, hence providing tourists with picturesque views. It comprises of both Hindu and Muslim elements in its architecture. It also offers several elephant rides as well. Day 10 Jaipur

Jaipur is also known as the “Pink City”. The city is mainly painted or dominated by pink color, from where it gets its name. The city was founded by Jai Singh II, who was a famous Amer ruler. It is widely known for historical monuments and sites that listed under the World Heritage. The city forms the “Golden Triangle” with Delhi and Agra, as most tourists visit these three fabulous locations when they come to India. It is also one of the top ten populous city in India.

Today, you can visit the city on your own. Some famous landmarks include Chandra Mahal, Johari Bazar Road, Naharagarh Biological Park, Kesar Kyari Garden, Moatha Lake, and much more. After your visit at Jaipur, you will get transferred to railway station for train to Agra.

Day 11 Jaipur to Agra by train. Tour of important places in Agra.

On arrival in Agra, get transferred to your hotel where you can relax after your travel. In the evening, head out to visit the beautiful city. Agra, also known as, Akbarabad I situated on the banks of river Yamuna. It is widely known for the infamous Taj Mahal which will be the first stop at the tour. The Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is made up of pure white marble and is located on bank of river Yamuna. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is known for the Emperor’s epic love story.

Day 12 Agra to Varanasi by overnight train. Arrive at Varanasi.

Today, you can spend your time visiting other places at Agra. Some famous locations you can visit include Mehtab Bagh, Jama Mosque, Chin Ka Rauza, Panch Mahal, Kalakriti, and much more. The city is the heart of the Mughal Empire, so here there are a variety of tomb’s and monuments built in the name of Akbar, Shah Jahan, Mumtaz, Jahangir, Mariam, and many more great legends.

Post journey, get transferred to railway station for train to Varanasi. Upon arriving at Varanasi, check into your new hotel and relax. In the evening head out to stroll across the streets of Varanasi. Post journey, get transferred to the railway station for a train to Delhi. On reaching Delhi, you will check into your new hotel. Day 13 Varanasi

On arriving at Varanasi, you will be transferred to your hotel. After freshening up, you can enjoy the day at leisure across the wondrous religious city.

Varanasi is also known as Banaras and is situated on Banks of river Ganga. It is a famous religious site and is considered the holiest as well. The city is also known as the “City of Light”. Many devotees come to visit the place during festivals and special occasions. Overnight is at Varanasi.

Day 14 Tour of places in Varanasi.

The first stop at the Varanasi tour will be the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The temple has several Jyotirlingas and located on the banks of river Ganga. It is built for Lord Shiva. The next stop will be the Dashashwamedh Ghat. The ghat is home to several religious rituals, worships, and prayers along the banks of river Ganga. Day 15 Varanasi to Kathmandu by flight

Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. People here speak Nepali and follow the Newar culture. However, some part of the population also speaks Chinese, French, and Korean as well. It is located at the foothills of the Himalayas. You can get to witness a small part of the Himalayan ranges from far as well. The place was listed under the World Heritage Site in 1979 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization. The might river, Bagmati flows across its valleys. Day 16 Tour of important places in Kathmandu.

Upon reaching Kathmandu, get transferred to your new hotel by a professional guide. Relax your muscles and head out for a lovely journey in the evening. The first stop will be the Thamel. It is known as the center of tourist industry. This place is known for bustling nightlife, shopping, and commercial goods. The next stop will be the Kathmandu Durbar Square. Day 17 Kathmandu
