Day 01: arrival in bombay

Upon arrival from Mumbai Airport, you will meet with our airport representative and he will assist you from Bombay Airport to your pre booked hotel. He will also brief about your tour.
Rest of the day free at hotel.

Day 02: mumbai – full day city tour

Post breakfast you will have full day city tour of Bombay and your morning city tour of Mumbai will take you to the Hanging Gardens located on the beautiful slopes of the Malabar Hills as well as Kamla Nehru Park offering a marvelous and panoramic view of the Chowpatty Beach as well as the Marine Drive. You will continue your tour and taken to Mani Bhawan, Prince of the Wales Museum, Gate of India and Dhobi-Ghat and will drive through Marine Drive, Flora Fountain and Crawford market.

Day 03: mumbai – porbandar by flight

Post breakfast you will check-out from your hotel and transfer to Bombay airport in time for your flight to Porbandar. This is an important city of Gujrat and Indian history being the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. It is also believed to be the birthplace of Sudama who was the childhood friend of Lord Krishna.
On arrival you will check-in your hotel and rest of the day free at hotel.

Day 04: porbandar – city tour and porbandar – ahemdabad by overnight train

Post breakfast you will be visiting some important tourist destinations in Porbandar.
Kriti Mandir is a memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and his wife Kasturba Gandhi and it is one the most famous tourist palace in Porbandar. This beautiful haveli was built in 1950 and here you will see many household things of Gandhiji like books, paintings, now displayed them at the museum in the Kriti Mandir complex. Later you can visit many other temples like Gita Mandir, Sudama Mandir, Nehru Planetarium, and Rana Bapu’s Mahal.
You can spend some time near to Porbandar beach and here you cannot swim due to the strong current.
Evening you will be transferred to Porbandar Railway station in time for your train to Ahemdabad.

Day 05: arrive ahmedabad

Morning arrival from Ahemdabad railway station and transfer to your hotel.
After breakfast and freshen-up visit the Sabarmati Ashram located on the banks of River Sabarmati, where Gandhi was based from 1917 to 1930. Founded in 1917, it is also known as Gandhi Ashram or the Harijan Ashram. From here on 12th March 1930, Gandhiji spearheaded the important Dandi March, against the salt laws imposed by the British Government. Today, the ashram has become a national monument. Explore exploring the Ashram return back to the hotel.

Day 6: ahmedabad city tour

Post breakfast you will be visiting world-class Calico Museum of Textiles and here you will see spectacular collections of both ancient and modern textiles.
Later in the evening, we will take you to the nearby craft village of Vishalla. Here you will enjoy eating traditional Gujrati meals with the locals followed by demonstrations of traditional crafts and traditional dancing. After the dinner return back to your hotel.

day 07: ahmedabad - wardha by overnight train

After breakfast you will follow the city tour of Ahmedabad including the famous temples and mosque.
Hathee Singh’s Jain Temple was built in 1850 in white marble by a rich merchant Seth Huthising Kesarising. The temple known for its intricate carvings and architectural designs is dedicated to 15th Jain Tirthankara Dharmnath. Siddi Saiyed Mosque- It was built in 15th century by Siddi Saiyed and it is fusion of Hindu and Islamic architecture.
Adalaj Step-well – This step-well was built in 1499 by queen Rudabai. Its main proposes was to hold the water for a long-time so that local people, refugees, and travellers can get the water. The entire step-well and building covered with carvings sculptures, and ornamentation, combining Indo-Islamic architectural elements and designs. Here you will see Hindu and Jain gods decorate on the walls
Swami Narayan Temple – ( Closed on Monday) – Akhshardham Temple was built in honour of Swaminarayan by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha and inspired by the fourth successor of Swaminarayan, Yogiji Maharaj. It is the most prominent temples of Gujrat with measures 240feet in length and 131 feet wide and 108 feet high.
Evening you will be transfer to Ahmedabad railway station to board the train for Wardha.

Day 08: arrive wardha

Arrive Wardha railway station and transfer to Sevagram Ashram. After breakfast and freshen up you will visit Seavgram Ashram. Sevagram is a small village, which just 08 km from Wardha town. Gandhi stayed in this village for about 10 years with his wife Kasturba Gandhi.

Day 09: wardha – delhi by overnight train

Post breakfast you will be visiting nearby Ashram of Vinoba Bhave. Here you will see numerous sculptures depicting the scenes of Ramayana and Mahabharata. This ashram is claimed to be the first and the only temple with an idol of Ram-Bharat
Later in the evening transfer to the railway station to board the train for Delhi.

Day 10: arrival in delhi

Upon arrival from Delhi railway station transfers to your hotel and relax.
Afternoon you will be visiting Shree Gandhi Ashram, National Gandhi Museum and Library.

Day 11: delhi- full day city tour

After breakfast at hotel, our guide will take you to visit the Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Drive past the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk, a popular market in Old Delhi to Jama Masjid, one of the historic and largest mosques in India. A rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk will be interesting as you can observe the local life through the busy bazaar. Afterwards, we will visit Qutub Minar, touted as India's largest Minaret and Humayun's tomb, a majestic blend of Islamic and Hindu architecture. Our next stop is India Gate. Then we drive past the Parliament House and other Government Secretarial Buildings to visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (Sikh Temple).

Day 12: Delhi – amritsar by morning train and excursion of wagah border

Early morning transfer to railway station to board the train for Amritsar, Arrive Amritsar and straight drive to the Wagah Border
Today you will be taken to the Wagah Border. The Wagah border closing and the lowering of the flags ceremony or the Beating Retreat ceremony is a daily military practice between the soldiers of India and Pakistan. The ceremony starts with a parade from both the sides. As the sun sets, the border gates are opened and the two flags are lowered, folded and the soldiers from both the sides shake hands and close the gates again.
Evening return back to your hotel.

Day 13: Amritsar city tour

Post breakfast you will have full day city tour of Amritsar and first you will visit the beautiful Golden Temple to join in the daily devotions of the faithful. Later, we will visit the Jallianwala Bagh, site of General Dyer's massacre of civilians in 1919 following Gandhi's early non-cooperation speeches.
Afternoon is free for leisure or you can explore the local markets of Amritsar for shopping.

Day 14: amritsar - delhi by morning train

Early morning packed breakfast from your hotel and transfer in time to Amritsar Railway station for your train to Delhi. On arrival from Delhi Railway station transfer to your hotel. Later afternoon you will be visiting Nehru Museum and Gandhi Smriti.

Day 15 : same day excursion of agra

Morning breakfast at hotel.
Later you will have a full-day excursion tour of Agra with a visit of the Taj Mahal Agra and Red fort. First, you will be taken to Taj Mahal Agra, which is one of the seven wonders of the world. This beautiful monument is elegantly built with white marble. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his favorite beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal between 1631 to 1648. (The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.)
Later you will be visiting Agra Fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and known for its architectural structure. After visiting Agra drive back to Delhi.

Day 16 : delhi airport departure

Post breakfast you will be transfer to Delhi Airport in time for your flight to onwards destination.
