Day 01 Ahmedabad

On your arrival at the Ahmedabad Airport, our representative will meet you and will transfer you to your pre booked hotel. Post getting fresh and getting rejuvenated from all the travel tiredness, in the afternoon, you can leave your hotel to explore the place and the major attractions of Gujarat including Calico Museum, Akshardham Temple, Gandhi Ashram and Adalaj Stepwell in Gandhinagar. In the evening you can go on a stroll at the local market and get your shopping fetish satisfied. Return back to the hotel, have a filling dinner and prepare yourself for the day ahead. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ahmedabad.

Day 02 Ahmedabad

After having a scrumptious breakfast, you can start your day to explore the beauty of the place. You can start your day by visiting the Dada Hari Wav, which was built by a woman of Sultan Begara’s harem. Post having the historic site you can visit the Sabarmati Ashram, World Vintage Car Museum, Hathising jain temple, Sidi saiyyed mosque, Jhulta minar and more. have some delicious Ahmedabadi food as you lunch and spend your evening at Kankaria lake to rejuvenate. Day 03 Ahmedabad - Tarnetar

After getting all fresh and having a tummy filling breakfast, leave for Tarnetar this morning. Tarnetar is a Village in Chotila Taluka in Surendranagar District of Gujarat State, India. It is home to the most beautiful festival, named as the Tarnetar Mela. The fair covers a large part of the Tarnetar village. Lot of stalls are put up in the fair to sell beautiful local handicrafts which are unavailable elsewhere. The stalls also incorporate a lot of ethnic jeweler, statues of deities and traditional attire with tiny mirrors embroidered into the clothing and many more. When in Tarnetar, you can visit the Trinetreshwar temple which dates back to the Solanki era. The temple is a fine example of art and sculpture in the Gurjar Pratihar style. However, the location of Tarnetar has legends associated with it. One is that Arjuna took part in a Swayamvir to win Draupadi and performed a brilliant feat of archery. Just by looking at the reflection of a rotting fish in the water he aimed his bow and shot out the eye. Just to celebrate his glory, this festival is celebrated. The fair is organized during the 4th, 5th and 6th day of Bhadarva sud month according to the Hindu calendar. This occurs sometime around the end of August-early September. During the festival, young men put on the finest ethnic dresses composed of colorful dhoti, highly embroidered waistcoats, and turbans and girls dress themselves up in the finest traditional ghagra cholis embroidered heavily with mirrors and sequin. You can visit all the stalls at the festival and have some local delicacies. Post all the fun and madness, overnight stay in tents in the fairground.

Day 04 Tarnetar

After having spent the night at the fairgrounds you are surely fully energized for another round of madness. Have your hearty breakfast at the mela and go on exploring the immaculate fair a bit more. you can see multiple types of dance forms which are performed during the festival and most famous amongst them is dandiya raas. Have an insight of the dance and see all the men and women strike small lacquered batons to a beat that gets faster till it finally breaks in a frenzied. Apart from dandiya you can also indulge yourself into Rahado dance which is a circular folk dance performed by the Rabari women of nearby Zalawad. Overnight stay at the fair in Tarnetar.

Day 05 Tarnetar - Rajkot

After having a tummy filling breakfast, start your road journey for Rajkot. En-route, you can stop at Virpur Temple for worship, it is the only temple which is there between the route to Rajkot. Once you arrive at Rajkot by evening, you check in at the hotel and relax overnight. Overnight stay at Rajkot.

Day 06 Rajkot

After having a tasty breakfast, you are ready to explore the former princely capital of Saurashtra region and currently a business hub, Rajkot, which is also the fourth largest city in Gujarat. Rajkot resides on the banks of Aji and Nyari Rivers. The city has a lot of sightseeing options available and is also a must visit place for history buffs. When in Rajkot one can explore the Shri Swami Narayan Temple, Watson Museum and Library, Rashtriya Shala, Lady Wilson Museum, Shri Sai Baba Temple, Radha Krishna Temple and the Mahatma Gandhi House. Overnight stay at Rajkot.

Day 07 Rajkot – Somnath

After breakfast in the morning, start your journey by driving from Rajkot to Somnath. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. After getting fresh and filling your tummy with some lunch, you can go on to visit the Somnath temple which is the most important pilgrimage spot of Gujrat, apart from that you can also visit the Triveni Ghat. This ghat is located at the point of confluence of three holy rivers. While in Somnath you can likewise visit Lakshmi Narayan temple, Gita temple, Panch pandav gufa (cave) and more such places. Day 08 Somnath – Dwarka

In the morning after breakfast, start your journey by hitting the road to Dwarka. En-route, you can halt in Porbandar and explore the surrounding attractions. Day 09 Dwarka

After you breakfast book your day for the surrounding sightseeing tour of Dwarka. It is considered one of seven holy sites according to Hindu beliefs. It is the legendary town of Lord Krishna. Being one of the four most visited Krishna Pilgrimages, there are many places to visit in Dwarka. You can book your day for visiting the Dwarkadhish temple, Nageshwar temple, Rukmani temple, Gomti ghat, Gopi talav and more. Later return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10 Dwarka – Jamnagar airport to depart
