Day 01 Arrive in Mumbai

Upon arriving in Mumbai, get transferred to your new hotel, where you can relax.

Mumbai also known as Bombay, is one of most populated metropolitan city in India. It comprises of seven islands which are Colaba, Old Women’s Island, Parel, Mazagoan, Matunga-Sion, and Mahim. Asia’s biggest slum area, Dharavi is in Mumbai. However, there are rich areas as well which include Juhu and Cuffparade. Overnight in Mumbai.

Day 02 Sightseeing of important places in Mumbai. Later overnight train to Aurangabad.

Today, your first stop will be the Gateway of India. It is an historical monument that was built in an Indo-Saracenic style. The purpose of building this iconic arch was to commemorate the landing of King George V. The next destination will be the Elephanta Caves. The location comprises of a cave temple that is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is also an island under the World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. Day 03 Sightseeing of important places in Aurangabad

Today, you will witness the Ajanta Caves. It is a rock-cut cave that consists of art, sculptures, and paintings of various forms. It is mainly Buddhist religious art. The cave is a 250-feet rock wall and is listed as a World Heritage Site under the UNESCO. The next stop will be the epic Ellora Caves. It is a rock-cut cave comprising of a monastery-temple. Day 04 Aurangabad

Today, you can spend rest of your day at leisure. You can visit majestic places such as Bibi Ka Maqbara, Daulatabad Fort, Panchakki, Grishneshwar Temple, Salim Ali Lake, Tomb of Aurangzeb, and much more. The Bibi Ka Maqbara is the tomb of Aurangzeb’s wife Dilras Banu Begum. It is also called as the Baby Taj due to similarity in design and structure of the Taj Mahal. Day 05 Aurangabad to Hyderabad by overnight train

Today, also you can spend your day discovering various places in Aurangabad. Here, you can go for a tour across the Daulatabad Fort. The city is known to be the capital of Tughluq, formerly it was Delhi. The fort gives access to narrow bridge, small passages, and much more. It also comprises of a cave entrance which once served as protection from the enemies. Post journey, you will be transferred to the railway station for train to Hyderabad.

Day 06 Sightseeing of important places in Hyderabad

Upon arriving at Hyderabad, you will be transferred to your new hotel where you can relax your muscles. Hyderabad is the capital of Telangana state. It is situated on banks of river Musi. Day 07 Hyderabad to Chennai by overnight train

Today, you can enjoy your day at leisure at Hyderabad. Visit exquisite locations such as Ramoji Film City, Salar Jung Museum, Chowmahalla Palace, Makkah Masjid, Birla Mandir, Lumbini Park, Qutb Shahi tombs, Osman Sagar, and much more. Day 08 Sightseeing of important places in Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram. Return to Chennai.

Upon arriving at Chennai, you will be transferred to your new hotel where you can relax. It is the capital of Tamil Nadu and consists of many temples and iconic monuments. It is also known as Madras. From here, you will have a full day excursion at Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram.

The first stop will be at the Mahabalipuram, which is a small land between Bay of Bengal and the Great Salt Lake. Here, you will visit the Shore temple. It is significant for its architectural style. It is believed to be associated with one of the five elements, the Earth. Post journey, return to Chennai. Overnight at Chennai.

Day 09 Sightseeing of important places in Chennai.

Today, you will head out for another exciting tour across Chennai. You will visit the Marina Beach that is a great panoramic spot. It is filled with seafood stalls that make delicious shrimps and much more. The next destination will be the Kapaleeshwarar Temple that is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Day 11 Tiruchirapalli to Thanjavur to Madurai by road.

The first stop will be the Brihadisvara Temple that is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It consists of fresco-lined interior. It was built by a Chola king with a Dravidian style. The next stop will be the Thanjavur Maratha Palace. It was a great fortress and residence in 16-th century. It consists of numerous tunnels, towers, and artworks. Day 14 Periyar to Kochi by road

Day 15 Sightseeing of important places in Kochi. Later board overnight train to Bengaluru

Today, you will go on a marvelous Kochi tour. The first stop will be the Fort Kochi. It comprises of many basilicas and synagogues. It is also known as a great place for fishing. The beaches here are serene and offer great views as well. The next stop will be the Mattancherry Palace. The palace was built by the Portuguese in 1555. The next stop will be the Cherai Beach. Day 16 Bengaluru to Mysore by road

Upon arriving at Bengaluru, you will get transferred directly to Mysore by road. The day is at leisure. Mysore is also known as Mysooru. The city is famed for its great rulers which included Wadiyars, Hyder Ali, and Tipu Sultan. The city is known for its diverse culture that is preserved in its historical monuments. Day 17 Sightseeing of important places in Mysore

Today, you will head out for an amazing tour across Mysore. The first stop will be the Chamundeshwari Temple. It is located on the Chamundi hill that gives a dramatic view of the city from the top. Then, you can also head to the Nandi bull after visiting the temple. The next destination will be the Mysore palace. It was built in the year 1911 to 1912 by the Maharaja of Mysore. Day 18 Mysore to Bangalore to Mumbai
