Day 01 Kochi

When you reach Kochi airport you will be welcomed by our representative and will be escorted to the hotel. You can relax yourself for a while and post lunch spend the afternoon in exploring some hideouts and major sightseeing attractions around your hotel in Kochi. Kochi has been drawing traders, explorers and travelers to its shores for over 600 years now. Kochi has a mix of lot of things. Only in Koch you can find a giant Chinese fishing nets, a 450-year-old synagogue, ancient mosques, Portuguese- and Dutch-era houses and the crumbling remains of the British Raj. It is a very amazing place to explore and relax. It is also a very important center for Keralan arts. When in Kochi you can visit and explore its picturesque beaches and architectural European style of the buildings. You can also visit the St. Francis Church, Mattancherry, Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, Jew Town and Spice Market. Day 02 Kochi – Munnar

After waking up fresh from the last day’s travel and post having a hearty breakfast you ready yourself to visit one of the best wonders of the world, the beautiful and peaceful Munnar hill station. Munnar is the most popular hill station of Kerala. It has a unique view of verdant mountain slopes which are covered with miles of green tea farms like organic bedding over mountains which offer views of low-flying clouds and misty valleys. The place has little bungalows, old play areas and tea factories all of them having an old world colonial feel. Day 03 Munnar

Today is the day when you can explore the beauty of Munnar for yourself. Post having a healthy breakfast you can move out to explore the coffee and tea gardens and plantation areas, have a delighting panoramic view from the hilltop and have a shopping experience like none other. In the markets of Munnar you can buy tea, green tea, coffee, cashew - nuts, homemade chocolates and spices at decent prices. Post your shopping session you can go out for some sightseeing. You can visit the Tata Tea Museum, Anamudi Peak, Mattupetty Dam, and Eravikulam National park. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04 Munnar- Thekkady

After breakfast get ready to drive to your next destination Thekkady. It is known as the Wildlife destination of Kerala. The place has unique and abundantly rich with flora and fauna. When in Thekkady you can visit and boat in the Thekkady lake. You can also visit Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Thekkady is a popular wildlife sanctuary in Thekkady which is preserving various species of animals like that of the elephants, tigers, sambars, gaurs and the very rare lion tailed macaques and many more. The forest is situated on the banks of the lake, Periyar. If you are a wildlife enthusiast, you can explore and see the wildlife from up close by taking the path from Moozhiyar to Thekkadi via Gavi which will give you a first-hand insight of visiting and traveling through the thickest wooded miles of Kerala. Day 05 Thekkady - Kuttanad - Nehru Troppy Snake boat race in Kerala.

Today, after having your breakfast you can go and experience a race like non other, the Nehru Trophy Boat Race which takes place is Kuttanad village. This race was named after Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who once conducted this race on the Punnamda Lake, near Alappuzha. This race takes place on the second Saturday of August every year. The race involves boats fiercely fighting the tranquil lake front. It is said that over two lakh people come to visit see this iconic race every year. The experience of the men rowing the Chundans or Snake Boats is admirable. For the people Kuttanad, the race is considered as victory. Boat races are a significant part of the culture and tradition of Kerala. The drum beats along with the chanting of the boat songs known as Vanchipattu builds the environment for a perfect event. Day 06 Kuttanad - Alleppey Houseboat

Post having your breakfast in your very own houseboat you can set off to explore just another marvel in the pristine country of Kerala, the tropical city Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a small village in Kerala which will help you experience the taste of tender coconut water, authentic Kerala food and experiencing the warmth of fresh air. This small village is located near the Vembanad Lake. Kumarakom has some exotic scenery and rare flora and fauna. When in Kumarakom you can go on a boating journey.
