This 08 Nights/ 09 Days Sikkim Tour offer you 03 major destination of Sikkim including Neora Valley, Pelling, and Gangtok. Sikkim is the second smallest state in India but it offers many beautiful destinations and hill stations. This tour is a combination of cultures, spirituality, relaxation, and adventure activities, which is very comfortable for all people including young and old. It contains the visit of waterfalls, famous monasteries, peace full villages, museums, and lakes. During the tour, you will see a spectacular view of the snow-capped mountain Himalaya including Kanchenjunga (World second highest mountain), the dense forest of Neora National Park, monks chanting at the Pemayangste monastery, and the melting glacier at Tsomgo Lake.
Upon arrival from Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway station to transfer Neora Valley. On arrival, you will check-in your resort and the rest of the day free at leisure. You can also stroll around your resort enjoy the spectacular view of the sunset. Neora valley jungle camp is just located 120kms north from Bagdogra airport. It is one of the last remaining ecosystems in the West Bengal state. It has an amazing bio-diversity, which it is home of many rare and endangered plants, animals, and birds. Post breakfast you will follow the tour of nearby Village Kolakham. It is a small picturesque village, which is known for its hospitality. It is the home of 62 Nepalese families, known as Rai community and they heartily welcome all visitors to their homes. Here you can spend some hours visiting their house and farms. You can know more about their culture, food, and community lifestyle. Here you can taste some fresh fruit.
Post lunch you will have an excursion tour of Lava Buddhist monastery. It is also known as Kagyu Thekchen Ling Monestry, which was built in 1987 by the third Rinpoche. The local community has offered him three acres of land to build this monastery. At present, it is the home of 110 monks. Here you will see the monks are occupied in the study of Buddhist literature and meditation. This monastery has a huge statue of Lord Buddha, various prayer halls, lawns, and sitting areas which gives a spectacular view of mountains.
Later you can enjoy the shopping at the local market and purchase some souvenirs.

Post breakfast you will be taken Neora Valley, National Park. This park is located in the Kalimpong district and was established in 1986. It is spread around 88 square km and one of the richest biological zone in entire eastern India. It is also home to more than 200 species of birds, which gives you an excellent opportunity of bird watching. Here you can take some beautiful pictures of different species of birds. If you are lucky enough you can spot red panda here.
Later you will have a small hike tour to explore to Chaggey waterfalls. During the treks, our guide will give you a brief knowledge of diverse flora and fauna.

Post breakfast check-out from your jungle camp and transfer by road to Pelling. Peeling is a small hill town, which is located 110kms west from the Gangtok. It is famous for its magnificent views of the snow-capped mountains of Kanchenjunga (K2). This town also is a base for trekking adventures tour. it also offers many trekking tours including the second highest mountain of the world K2. Here you can enjoy many fun and adventure activities like white-water rafting, kayaking, trekking, mountain biking, and bird-watching.
On arrival, you will check-in your hotel/resort and rest of the day relax.

Post breakfast you will follow the full day city tour of Pelling including Darap Valley, Rimbi waterfalls, Kanchenjunga falls, Khochoedpalri lake. Afternoon you will visit Pemayangste Monastery. This is one of the oldest and famous monasteries of Sikkim, which was designed by Lama Lhatsun Chempo in 1647. IThe Cham dance festival is held here every year, this dance is performed only by the monks in their colorful costume. Later you will be visiting Rabdantse Ruins and Helipad ground. Post breakfast check-out from our hotel and transfer by road to Gangtok. Gangtok is the largest town and the capital of Sikkim state and it is also a center of the tourism industry of Sikkim state. Once it was an important transit point for traders between India and Tibet. It is also considered one of the most beautiful hill destinations in India.
On arrival you will check-in your hotel and later you can follow the half-day city tour. Enchey Monastery is perched on a ridge above Gangtok, the Enchey Monastery is nestled within lush woods with a spectacular view of Gangtok town. Built-in 1910 on the site of the hermitage of the great tantric saint, Lama Droop Karoo, who was renowned for his powers of levitation, this monastery houses the monks of the Nyigma Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Your visit continues and you will be taken to the Directorate of handloom and handicrafts which were set up to promote traditional Sikkimese art and handicrafts. Exquisitely carved wooden friezes, intricate bamboo work, along with beautiful hand-woven carpets and handlooms are on exhibit here. Watching the artisans at work is quite interesting

Post breakfast you will have a full-day excursion trip of Tsomgo Lake ( Nathula Pass) which is local 60kms east from Gangtok city and you need to required special permission to visit this place, as it is very close to India China Border. It was also part of the old Silk route through the Bay of Bengal to Lasha (Tibet).
Later visit Tsomgo lake and which derives its water from the melting snows of the surrounding mountains. This lake looks very different at different seasons. Next visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial Temple, which was built in the memory of Indian soldier. Evening return back to your hotel

Post breakfast you will have full day city tour of Gangtok City.
First you will be visiting Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday) and Do Drul Chorten Rumtek Monastery. The Tibetology built in a traditional style in 1958 lies amidst a serene surrounding of oak, birch and ash and promotes research in Mahayana Buddhism and the traditions of Tibet. It has large collections of rare books and manuscripts on Mahayana Buddhism. The two exquisite stupas Do Drul Chorten were built to celebrate the victory of good over the evil. Nearby are housed two giant statues of Lord Buddha and Guru Padmasammbhava, also known as Guru Rinpoche, the patron saint of Sikkim.
Rumtek Monastery is the world's Dharma chakra Centre and the seat of His Holiness, the Gyalwa Karmapa - head of the Kagyupa order of Buddhism. Behind the monastery is the well decorated Karmae Nalanda Institute of Buddhist Studies. Opposite the entrance is a small hall featuring a beautiful jewel studded Chorten the Golden Stupa containing the ashes and remains of His Holiness the xvi Gyalwa Karmapa. It is said that the first Karmapa was visited by fairies who came to congratulate him each offered a strand of her hair as a gift. The hair was woven into a black hat and is still at the Rumtek Monastery today.
