North East India is the land of beauty and natural landscapes. Guwahati is one of the major cities in Assam and known for old temples and holy sites like Kamakhya Temple, Navagraha Temple, and Umananda Temple. Umananda Temple is located on Peacock Island, in the Brahmaputra River. Assam is also known for its diverse wildlife, with animals like one-horned rhino, tigers, pythons and Asian elephants, as well as several endangered birds.

Shillong is an exquisite hill station, located in, and the capital of Meghalaya. Shillong means “the abode of clouds”, and its hilltop locale fits the description. Though small in area, Shillong is a popular tourist attraction, due to the peace and sites like Umiam Lake, Shillong View Point and Don Bosco Museum. There are also several walking trails around Ward’s Lake. There are also many waterfalls that people enjoy, including the Elephant Waterfalls.

Cherrapunji is a town, over a high altitude, located in the state of Meghalaya. Also known as Sohra, this place is famous for its waterfalls and root bridges that are interestingly constructed from rubber trees. The waterfalls like Nohkalikai Waterfall and Dainthlen Waterfall are undoubtedly worth visiting, and so are locales like Mawsmai Cave Road, and Thangkharang Park. They are known for their lush greenery as well as scenic views.

Kaziranga National Park is one of the biggest National Parks in India. Located in the state of Assam, Kaziranga National Park is home to various animals and birds and has been a World Heritage Place under UNESCO since 1985. This sanctuary is the abode to almost two-thirds of the world’s great one-horned rhinoceros population and has over two thousand rhinos residing here. It is also home to tigers, elephants, swamp deer and wild water buffalo, among other species of animals. There are also over 478 species of birds, including 25 globally threatened species and 21 near-threatened species.

Balukpong is located in Andhra Pradesh and is about 213 meters above sea level. It is a small town and is impeccably peaceful. Tourist activities like fish angling and river rafting are extremely popular here. People also like to visit the Tipi Orchidarium, which homes about two thousand six hundred cultivated orchids, of over eighty species.

Bomdila, located in Arunachal Pradesh, is a small place, relatively new to tourism, but quickly gaining popularity, due to its natural peaks, monasteries and apple orchids. The Kangto Peak and Gorichen Peak are the highest peaks in Arunachal Pradesh. The monasteries include the Bomdila Monastery and Lower Gompa Bomdila. Craft Center and Ethnographic Museum are other popular attractions around Bomdila.

Tawang is a small town, located merely 3 kilometres to the east of Bhutan. It has a population of around eleven thousand and is the home to places like Tawang Monastery, Tawang War Memorial, and the Great Buddha Statue.

Day 01 Home – Guwahati

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by one of our representatives, who will escort you to your hotel. After checking in, you can relax and let off that jet lag. In the evening, you can explore the streets of Guwahati, and see the various local markets, while mingling with the locals. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 Guwahati

After some hearty breakfast, it is time for some sightseeing. You can start with visiting the famous Kamakhya Temple, followed by Umananda Temple and Navghraha Temple. You can also indulge in some local activities while out there. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03 Guwahati – Shillong

After an early breakfast, you will depart for Shillong. After checking in, you can take some rest, following which you can go on and explore Shillong. Staring with Umiam Lake, you can make your way towards the Shillong View Point or go around the various walking trails. Don't forget to check out the Don Bosco Museum. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04 Shillong – Cherrapunji

Post breakfast, you will be leaving for the town of Cherrapunji. Once checked in, you can take some time to relax. In the afternoon, you can start with the Nohakalikai Waterfall and Dainthlen Waterfall, followed by going to the iconic Mawsmai Cave Road and Thangkharang Park. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05 Cherrapunji – Kaziranga

After breakfast, you will be departing towards Kaziranga National Park. You will be checked in at the hotel upon your arrival and will have the afternoon to yourself. In the later afternoon, while there's still sunlight, you can go for some bird watching, or walk around the trails, exploring nature. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 06 Kaziranga

Post your breakfast; you can go on a jeep safari, and get an insight into the famous Kaziranga National Park. Keep an eye out for animals like one-horned rhino, tigers and wild water buffalos. Meanwhile, you will also come across various fascinating birds as well as flora. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07 Kaziranga – Bhalukpong

After breakfast, you will depart for Bhalukpong. Post checking in at the hotel, you can rest for a while and gear up for some fantastic water activities. You can go for river rafting and fish angling. You can also visit the Tipi Orchidarium. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 08 Bhalukpong – Bomdila

Post breakfast, you will depart for Bomdila. After checking in, and getting some rest, you can visit the Kangto and Gorichen Peaks, for some astounding views. Later, you can visit the apple orchids, the Bomdila Monastery and the Lower Gompa Bomdila. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 09 Bomdila – Dirang

Post breakfast, you will leave for Dirang. After checking in and catching up with some rest, you can visit the famous hot water springs. You can also visit the Sangti Valley, followed by the famous Kalchakra Gompa and the National Research Center on Yak. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10 Dirang – Tawang

After an early visit to the water springs and some hearty breakfast, you will leave for the next stop in the Unexplored holiday package tour to North East and Arunachal, Tawang. Post arrival, you will check into the hotel, and can catch up on some rest. In the evening, you can go out and explore the neighborhood and the local markets. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 11 Tawang

After breakfast, your Tawang exploration starts. You can start with the Tawang Monastery followed by the Tawang War Memorial. Then you can visit the much famous, the Great Buddha Statue and the Jang Waterfalls. You can also see the famous handicrafts center. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 12 Tawang – Guwahati

After breakfast, take a scenic helicopter transfer to Guwahati. Check-in at the hotel & take rest for some time. In the evening you will explore some places there, like the Assam State Museum and the Srimanta Sankardev. Overnight stay at a hotel in Guwahati.

Day 13 Guwahati - Home

After breakfast, you will be dropped at the airport to board the flight to your hometown.
