Day 01 Delhi - Guwahati by flight and then a car ride to Kaziranga

Upon your arrival in Delhi, our representatives will greet you and will take you to your Hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.There is a direct flight to Guwahati from Delhi after checking out the next day. After arrival at Guwahati, the drive to Kaziranga takes about 3 hours. Check-in for an overnight stay at the hotel and enjoy the day at your leisure!

Day 02 Spending time in Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary

Get to explore the central range of the wildlife sanctuary on an elephant. After that, the eastern range is explored by jeep. Then after having lunch, it is time to see the western range on the jeep safari ride.

Knowing Kaziranga National Park

Known to be one of the best and oldestnatural parks and a famous world heritage site as well, the Kaziranga National Park is situated on the banks of river Brahmaputra, fully rich with diverse habitat and also rich flora and fauna. Known for its famous one-horned rhinos, there are about 15 of them in the endangered list. Plus, there are other attractive wild animals to be explored as well.

There is an overnight stay at the hotel in Kaziranga.

Day 03 Going from Kaziranga to Shillong

The drive from Kaziranga to Shillong is around 280 kms, and breakfast is served on the way. After arrival at the hotel, there is the visit to the archery ground in the evening and then to police bazaar, where you can explore all of the local stuff like handlooms, local items, certain electronics, and various other products. There is also an overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.

Day 04 Trek to Nartiang in Shillong

After having breakfast at the hotel, the trek starts for Nartiang.

Nartiang

Located at a distance of 65 kilometres from Shillong in the Jaintia hills, Nartiang is one of the best places to explore exotic geographical attractions like the monoliths and the stones that are considered to be the tallest ever found. Some of the monoliths can be of the height of 8 meters and a width of 2 meters. These rocks are of special significance as it represents that tribal clan of the Hynniewtrep.

The place was once the aboard of the kings of Jaintia. Also, there is a Durga Temple, which holds special spiritual significance as well. From here, we travel back to Shillong. On the way, we will visit the Cathedral Church,and there is an overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 05 Travel from Shillong to Cherrapunji

Located at a distance of 56 kms from Shillong, Cherrapunji receives the highest amount of rainfall on earth and goes by the name of Sohra. Rainfall in a single day amounts to 2500mm and for the whole year about 12000 mm, making it the wettest place on earth. Other places to visit include the Ramakrishna Mission, the Seven Sister Falls, Eco Park, Bangladesh Border, Nohkalikai falls and even DuwashingSyiemViewpoint. There is an overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 06 Travelling from Cherrapunji to Shillong

After breakfast at the hotel, it is now time to visit the famous footbridge, which takes two hours from Cherrapunji. On the way, you can see the local way of life and get a glimpse of nature. The living footbridge is the two-tier bridge and connects with a pool located down below. Each of the tier’s measures around 60 ft and it is worth all the effort to reach this place. In order to reach the two-tier footbridge, trekking for at least 8 hours is required. Now it is time to go to Shillong. On the way, we visit Mawsynram and see the Masami cave there. There is an overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 07 Reach Guwahati by car and then by flight to Delhi

It is now time to reach Guwahati by car and then travel by flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, you would be escorted back to your hotel.
