Day 01 Arrive at Delhi

On your arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to your hotel. Relax your muscles and head out for a marvelous tour across the capital of India, Delhi.

Your first stop in Delhi will be the iconic Red Fort. It is a Mughal fortress constructed in the 17th century using the red sandstone. The next destination will be the glorious Qutub Minar. It is the tallest minaret in the world. The minaret was completed by Sultan Iltutmish.After visiting the Qutb Minar, you will arrive at the India Gate. The India Gate, also known as the “Kingsway,” is an iconic war memorial. The historical monument was built in honor for the Indian soldiers who served the British Army during the First World War. Then you will arrive at the beautiful Lotus Temple. It is one of the most religious sitesfamed in Delhi. It has a flower-like architectural design. Post-tour, overnight at Delhi.

Day 02 Arrive at Jaipur

From Delhi, get transferred to Jaipur by road. Arrive at your hotel where you can relax your muscles. Then head out for a lovely journey across the city. Jaipur also renowned as the “Pink City,” get this name from the widely painted pink colored buildings. The city was founded by Jai Singh II, an Amer king.

In the evening, your first stop will be the Amer Fort. It is situated on a hilltop and offers tourists picturesque views. The fort was built with both Hindu and Muslim elements in its architectural design and is home to several elephants. The next destination is the Hawa Mahal. It is also called the Palace of the Winds. The palace is made up of pink sandstone. It was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Then you will head out to the Jantar Mantar. It is a sundial instrument used for astronomical observation and is listed under the World Heritage Site. Post-journey, stay overnight at Jaipur.

Day 03 Tour of important places at Jaipur

Wake up to some delicious breakfast in your hotel and head out to visit more important places in Jaipur during your India and Bhutan Tour Package. Today, your first stop is the Jal Mahal. It is an iconic palace in the middle of the Man Sagar. It is made of red sandstone. Also half of the palace is submerged under water. The next destination, you will be visiting is the Sheesh Mahal. It is renowned for ornate mirrors and is located on the pavilion in the Amber Fort. Other landmarks you can visit on your own include Chandra Mahal, Nahargarh Biological Park, Kesar Kyari Garden, Moatha Lake, and much more. After your visit to Jaipur, you will get transferred to Agra by road.

Day 04 Arrive at Agra

On arrival in Agra, get transferred to your hotel where you can relax after your travel. In the evening, head out to visit the beautiful city. Agra is a widely renowned Mughal city. It is situated on the banks of river Yamuna.Here, Shah Jahan built Taj Mahal, a wondrous marble monument for his beloved wife,Mumtaz Mahal.

The first stop at your Agra tour is the Taj Mahal. It was built by Shah Jahan for his favorite wife,Mumtaz Mahal. The monument is made up of ivory marble and is a great romantic spot. The monument depicts the Emperor’s love story. The next stop will be at the Agra Fort. It is made up of red sandstone and has a semi-circular shape. The fort comprises of four gatewaysand marble interiors. The next destination you will arrive at the Akbar’s tomb. It is a tomb built in honor of the strongest Mughal Emperor Akbar. Post-tour, overnight at Delhi.

Day 05 Tour of important places at Agra

Today, you can spend your time visiting other places at Agra. Some famous locations you can visit include Mehtab Bagh, Jama Mosque, Chin Ka Rauza, Panch Mahal, Kalakriti, and much more. The city is the heart of the Mughal Empire, so here there are a variety of tombs and monuments built in the name of Akbar, Shah Jahan, Mumtaz, Jahangir, Mariam, and many more great legends. Post-journey, get transferred to the Delhi airport by road.

Day 06 Arrive at Paro

Today, from Delhi get transferred to Paro. A professional guide will take you to your hotel where you can relax.

In the evening, head out to visit the Ta-Dzong. It is a National Museum at Paro. It was a watchtower of Paro before. The Ta-Dzong is situated on top of the hill from where tourists get spectacular views of the Paro valley. The museum will provide insightinto the city’s culture, heritage, and history. Then, the next destination you will cover today is the Paro Rinpung Dzong. It is known as the “Fortress of the Heap of Jewels.” It is listed as World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It is a large Buddhist monastery. Post-tour, overnight at your hotel.

Day 07 Day excursion to Taktsang Monastery

Today, you will arrive at the Satsam Chorten from where you will have a full day excursion at the Taktsang Monastery. It is a hermitage that lies on a thousand-meter-high cliff. This place is the most scared among the Bhutanese as they believe Guru Rinpoche, the father of Bhutanese Buddhism landed on this place on the back of a tigress. From this Taktsang monastery, a panoramic view of the whole town can be witnessed. It is also known as the Temple of the Self- Speaking statue. It also has eight manifestations of Guru,and his twenty-five disciples and all these manifestations were built by Pentsa Deva, Dharma Deva, and Dharmasri. Near, the area lies a great scenic waterfall as well. There is also a cave where Padmasambhava meditated. Post-tour, overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 Arrive at Punakha

From Paro, drove to Punakha. During the journey, arrive at the Dochula pass. Here, get to witness beautiful prayer flags that are slighted along with 108 chortens. These were built by the eldest Queen of Bhutan. Then, check into your new hotel at Punakha and head out for the Punakha Dzong. The Punakha Dzong is located amidst Phochu, a male river; and Mochu, a female river. The Dzong is surrounded by beautiful jacaranda trees and is the second oldest Dzong in Bhutan. Post-tour, overnight at the hotel.

Day 09 Tour at the Wangdue Phodrang

Today, go for a lovely tour across the Wangdue Phodrang. It is another marvelous Dzong that is present in the town. The Dzong was burnt down. However, later it was reconstructed. The Dzong is also sited along beautiful rivers Punatsangchu and Dangchu. Hence, it offers great panoramic and scenic views to enjoy and capture. A short distance from the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong lies the Gangteng Monastery. Here, you can find black-necked cranes. Post-journey, get transferred back to Punakha. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 Arrive at Thimphu

From Paro, get transferred to Thimphu by road. Thimphu is the capital of Bhutan. On your way, arrive at the Dochula pass again where you will stop by some eateries. Then, check into your new hotel at the capital. After lunch, head out to visit the National Library located in the city. The library has a large collection of the history of Bhutan which includessacred texts and manuscripts. Through them, you can get an insight into the city’s culture. Then, you will head out for the Zorig Chusum. The Zorig Chusum is an institute of traditional art and craft. Here, students learn how to make mud statues, wooden statues, paintings, and much more that represent the tradition of Bhutan. Then, you will head out for the Handicrafts Emporium where you can see a lot of handicrafts displayed which include Bhutanese fabrics, textiles, art, and crafts. Post-tour, overnight at Thimphu.

Day 11 Tour of important places at Thimphu

Wake up to some delicious breakfast at your hotel and head out for a full day Thimphu sightseeing tour. The first stop will the Tashichho Dzong. It is large monastery and fortress with various shrines. It is also home to several flowers, gardens, and scenic views. Then, you will arrive at the Buddha Dordenma statue. It is a large Buddha statue and a temple located over a mountaintop. From here, you can see a display of valley and dramatic mountains. Then you will arrive at the Memorial Chorten. It is an iconic landmark in Thimphu. It is a Buddhist stupa with a gilded spire. It has four ornate portals with a vase-like story.

Day 12 Departure

Today, get transferred to Paro by road for departure.
