Day 01 Arrival at Jaipur

On the very 1st day of the trip, you will reach Jaipur and immediately you will be transported to your hotel. Jaipur acts as a gateway to reach the other popular tourist destinations in Rajasthan like Udaipur, Jodhpur, Chittorgarh, Jaisalmer, etc. The more you explore this city, the more you will learn about the immortal past that every monument of this city holds. Established on 18th November 1727 by Raja Jai Singh, the ruler of Amer, the earlier capital of this city, Jaipur offers you a number of palaces and forts to visit. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

Day 02 Sightseeing in Jaipur

On the 2nd day you will explore Jaipur and AmerFort for the whole day. The journey in the morning will begin from Amer Fort or Amer Palace and you will ascend (one way) the fort on elephant back. Built in red sandstone and marble by Raja Man Singh, Amer Fort is divided into four sections. Surajpol, the main entryway is architecturally brilliant.A beautiful temple devoted to Goddess Sila Devi is situated close to the Ganesh Gate. You will visit the Diwan-e-Aam (Hall of public audience), Diwan-e-Khas (Hall of private audience), Sheesh Mahal (Palace of mirrors), and Sukh Niwas, which has a very pleasant ambiance.

Next destination is the seven-storied Maharaja City Palace and the Jantar Mantar (the observatory), which is a major attraction for the mathematicians and astronomers worldwide. Day 03 Road trip from Jaipur to Ranthambore

This day, you will be driven from Jaipur to Ranthambore National Park. Mostly known for its huge population of Royal Bengal Tigers, Ranthambore National Park occupies a large area and is named after the Ranthambore Fort present inside the park. You can easily spot a tiger here. Other animal species present in the park are – leopard, sambar, nilgai, wild boar, spotted deer, reptiles, etc. It is home to many crocodiles that live in the lakes present in the park and lizards, and you will find them basking in the sun.

Day 04 Drive to Agra and visiting Fatehpur Sikri en route

On the way to Agra, you will visit FatehpurSikri, built by the great Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. One of the most notable UNESCO World Heritage Sites and adorned with many historical monuments, it is an important testimonial to the great Mughal civilization. In FatehpurSikri, you will visit the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, and the five-story-high Panch Mahal. Next, you will visit the prodigious, historically significant structure, Buland Darwaza, which is an epitome of architectural wonder.This central porch has three arched entrances and is called ‘Horseshoe Gate’ by local people. The other historically significant monuments in Fatehpur Sikri that you will visit next are –Ibadat Khana, Mariam-uz-Zamani’s Palace, Naubat Khana, and last but not the least, Birbal’s house. Day 05 Agra

Day 06 Agra sightseeing and drive to Delhi

In the morning of this day, you will visit the Taj Mahal. The majestic appearance of this wonder of the world is a treat to the eyes. The specialty of this mausoleum lies in its exquisite architecture and in the use of ivory-white marbles in its construction. Built by EmperorShah Jahan between 1631 and 1648, in the memory of his most beloved wife, Empress Mumtaz Mahal, who died during childbirth in 1631,Taj Mahal has the tombs of both Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. This grandiose structure stands on the banks of Yamuna and is a true embodiment of love, romance, and marital devotion. This mausoleum remains closed for visitors on Fridays.

The Agra Fort will be your next destination. Built in the 16th century during the Mughal rule, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for architectural magnificence. Inside the fortress, there are many splendid palaces that seem to be coming out of a fairy-tale, like Khas Mahal and Jahangir palace. Next, you will travel to Delhi by the roadway.

Day 07 Sightseeing in Delhi

On the last day of the Golden Triangle Tour Package, you will enjoy full-day sightseeing of Delhi – the political hub of India. Firstly, you will visit the Old Delhi built by Emperor ShahJahan in 1639 AD. Then you will be visiting Raj Ghat, the place of cremation of the Father of our Nation Mahatma Gandhi.Then visit the museum built to memorialize him. On the way, you will see the iconic Red Fort and the vibrant marketplace, ChandniChowk. Your next stop will be one of the largest and historically significant mosques in India - Jama Masjid, built by Shah Jahan. Next comes the interesting rickshaw ride (optional) in Chandni Chowk, which is a famous crowded bazaar, full of shops selling numerous delicacies, clothes, jewelry, household wares, and a lot more.
