People are often rushing to and fro Mumbai and Rajasthan when it comes to travelling. However, between these two major places lies another major tourist trail, Gujarat. Gujarat is a highly rewarding state where the capital, Ahmedabad has to offer to you lovely culture and remarkable architecture, while the countryside brings to you various other state’s treasuries. All thisharboured wildlife, draws tourist from all around the world. For all the nature lovers, we have come up with a9-dayitinerary specially crafted to double your wildlife experience. Each National Park is different, so the experience and stay time is different too. One full day at Velavadar National Park whereas two full days at the famous Gir National Park, which is known for its famous Asiatic lions.
Apart from these beautiful National Parks, this trip also enables you to visit the renowned Rann of Kutch which is divided into two parts, one is the Great Rann and the other one is Little rann.Both the places are canvas white which is painted with beautiful tribal and intricate handicrafts. Considering its vast salty plains, the visibility of varied animals is fabulous. It is also a bird watcher’s paradise as it is home to several flamingos, cranes, spoonbills and painted storks.
However, do note, even though this is a tailor-made trip, we will readily accommodate all your needs, right from keeping the starting destination of the trip as Delhi or Mumbai to adding additional days and experience like the leopard night safari.

Itinerary
Arrive at the Ahmedabad International airport, our tour representative shall receive you and assist you with your luggage and drop you to the hotel booked. After a hearty meal, we drive to Velavadar. Velavadar has been declared primarily for saving the blackbucks. Enjoy watching the sunset in this beautiful grassland ecosystem. Overnight stay in Velavadar to rejuvenate and rekindle.
After a sumptuous meal we begin our day to drive to Bhavnagar. Upon arrival in Bhavnagar, you proceed to Velavadar National Park. It was earlier known as “Vidi”, of the Maharaja of the princely state of Bhavnagar, where the famous hunting cheetahs used to hunt blackbucks.Now the local communities take great care of these animals, and the sanctuary was declared as the Blackbuck National Park, also known as Velavadar National Park. The wildlife not just comprises of blackbucks but also has a variety of animals including wolves, jungle cats, jackals, foxes, hyenas etc. Enjoy the morning and evening game drives spotting different colourful and rare bird species such as Houbara bustard, Lesser floricans, Larks and Sandgrouse. Later, return back to the hotel for a night stay.
After breakfast, we drive to the Gir National Park. It is 200kms from Bhavnagar and would approximately take 5 hours to reach. We will take proper stops in between and enjoy the beautiful driveway to the park. However, since it’s a long drive it can take a few hours extra but we will try to take an evening game drive. In case we don’t, the whole evening is for your leisure time. Afterward, have a delicious dinner and stay overnight.
On the 4th day of the tour, after a healthy breakfast, we drive to the royal kingdom of Asiatic lions. The Gir forest is also known as the Sasan-Gir. This park has a tremendous variety of wild creatures. In order to witness around more than 2000 distinct fauna species of Gir that includes around more than 30 species of mammals, 300 species of birds, 37 species of reptiles and more than 2,000 species of insects you take a jeep jungle safari both in the morning and in the evening. The Gir also comprises Indian Leopards, Indian Cobras, Sloth bears, Jungle cats, Golden Jackals, Indian Palm Civets, Striped Hyenas, Indian Mongoose, and Ratels. Later we return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Today again take morning safari to the National Park to enjoy the wilderness and beautiful surroundings. Afternoon at leisure to relax. Spend an overnight at the hotel.
Start your day with a wholesome breakfast as we now move towards the Rann of Kutch. We visit Zainabad which is a very small yet scenic town located on the fringes of the Little Rann of Kutch. On the way to Zainabad, you will encounter many sightseeing spots. However, the one that has made it a touristy place is it is Wild-Ass Sanctuary. In this wildlife safari, you will catch glimpses of exotic and lovely birds and animal population. In order to make your day try and locate the rare sights of Asiatic wild-ass and the endangered Hubara Bustards. Stay overnight in the wilderness.
Post breakfast, visit the spectacular white dessert, the Rann of Kutch. It is said that it is the home to India's largest salt plain. The great Rann has beautiful landscapes while the Little Rann is the hub of amazing wildlife. We take the game drives both the days into the nothingness and spot desert cats, wolves, foxes, and donkeys, also sometimes endangered Asiatic wild onagers, along with photogenic birds like flamingos and cranes. This ride will show you how beautiful nothingness looks with flocks of storks that often fly overhead. Later get a delightful dinner and stay overnight to rejuvenate.
Today again take morning safari to the National Park to enjoy the wilderness and beautiful surroundings. Afternoon at leisure to relax. Spend an overnight at the hotel.
In the morning after breakfast, it’s time to pack your bags and leave. We drive back to Ahmedabad en-route Zainabad after unravelling the wild side of Gujrat and with that soaked up in wild spirit get transferred to the airport to board the flight for your journey forward.
