Day 01 Arrival at Delhi

Upon your arrival in Delhi, you will be received at the airport by a representative and would be transferred to your Hotel. After checking-in to your room you are free to spend the day at your leisure or explore this fascinating city on your own. Apart from being the national capital, Delhi is also one of the oldest cities in India. It is home to the central Government of India and receives millions of visitors from all over the world. Delhi is usually categorised into two separate parts i.e. Old Delhi and New Delhi. While New Delhi is the modern metropolis which boasts of world class infrastructure and all modern amenities, Old Delhi exudes an old-world charm. Old Delhi was constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and the Mughlai influence is imprinted on the various aspects of life here including architecture and food.

Day 02 Delhi Tour

Your Golden Triangle Package’s first day will be dedicated to the city tour of Delhi and would start from Old Delhi. The first stoppage would be Raj Ghat which is the site where Mahatma Gandhi was created. This place also has a museum dedicated to the life and works of the father of the nation. On way to your next stop at Jama Masjid, you will pass by the famous Red Fort and the Chandni Chowk Market. Red Fort is a historically significant building constructed out of red sandstone. Chandni Chowk is the oldest area of Delhi and is marked by its narrow by lanes. When you will stop, you will be visiting the biggest mosque in India i.e. the Jama Masjid. Thereafter, you have the option of taking a rickshaw ride through the Chandni Chowk Market and indulge in some shopping.

Next, you will visit the QutubMinar, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a tall minaret constructed by Qutub-Ud-Din Aibak. Thereafter, you will visit another UNESCO World Heritage Site i.e. the Humayun’s Tomb. It is a memorial dedicated to Mughal Emperor Humayun and was constructed in his memory by his wife. Your next stop is the India Gate which is a war memorial dedicated to soldiers who died for the nation. On way to your next stop, you will drive by important government buildings such as the Parliament House and the Rashtrapati Bhawan. Your next stop is the Laxmi Narayan Temple where you will be paying your obeisance to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Narayan. In the evening, you will return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03 Delhi to Samode

After having breakfast at the Hotel, you will start for Samode , which is around 5 hours away from Delhi. Samode is famous for the magnificent Samode Palace and the SamodeBagh. It is perfect combination of Indo-Saracenic architecture and is almost five centuries old. Over the years, different rulers kept on adding something to the fort which resulted it in having its present shape. Later on, you will be transferred to your Hotel for overnight stay. You are free to spend the day at your leisure.

Day 04 Samode to Jaipur

In the morning, you will start for your onward Journey to Jaipur from Samode which will take you around one hour for the fifty-kilometre journey. Upon your arrival in Jaipur, you will check-in at your Hotel and can spend the rest of the day at your leisure with overnight stay at the Hotel. Jaipur is one of the most famous cities in India and is also the capital city of the state of Rajasthan. There are many forts, palaces, markets and other attractions in the Pink City that make it a traveller’s paradise.

Day 05 Jaipur City Tour

Today you will explore all the gems of the Jaipur City. The first stop is at the majestic Amer Fort where you will be taken to the hill top riding on elephant back. The fort is constructed out of red sandstone and overlooks the Jaipur City. It has many attractions for the tourists including Diwan-e-Aam, Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-e-Khaas. One major attraction i.e. SukhMahal is unique in itself as it is cooled down by natural wind blowing over a cascade of water in extreme summers and must be witnessed to be experienced. Your next stop would be Maharaja City Palace, which offers a perfect combination of Rajput and Mughal Architecture and the seven-storied building served as the royal residence. The next stoppage is Jantar Mantar which is a celestial observatory with the world’s largest sundial. Thereon, you will visit another architectural marvel i.e. HawaMahal which was constructed by Sawai Man Singh to allow the royal women to observe the processions in the city while observing the purdah system. After visiting the Jaipur’s Pink Rose Garden, you will be taken to the markets of Jaipur for indulging in shopping of interesting items such as jewellery, gemstones, clothes, footwear, fabrics and much more. Return to your Hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 06 Jaipur to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri

In the morning you will start your journey to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is a historic town which was constructed by third Mughal Emperor, Akbar. It houses some fascinating sites such as Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, PanchMahal, BulandDarwaza Mariam-uz-Zamani’s palace, NaubatKhana, IbadatKhana, and Birbal’s house.

Thereon, you will resume your journey to Agra and once you reach there, you will be taken to your Hotel and are free to spend the day at your leisure. Agra is a major historical town and offers various attractions for the travellers including the Taj Mahal.

Day 07 Agra Tour and return to Delhi

Your Agra Tour will start from one of the seven wonders of the world i.e. Taj Mahal. It is a masoulem constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is constructed out of ivory-white marble and is absolutely a must visit place. Thereafter, you will travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Agra Fort. It is a historically significant fort with some important places like Jahangir Palace, Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, and Khas Mahal. Thereafter you can indulge in some shopping at the famous markets of Agra.
