It is home to the endangered salt water crocodiles and serves as the habitat for the Indian Python, Water Monitor Lizard and the King Cobra. The Bhitarkanika Ramsar Site spans over an area of six hundred and seventy-two square kilometers and this particular wetland holds tremendous global importance. Day 01 Home – Bhubaneswar

Upon arrival, you will be escorted to the hotel where you can freshen up and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Later, set off to explore the city and sightsee. First, you will be driven to the Lingaraj Temple, a sprawling ancient Hindu Temple which had been built in the eleventh century. There are sculpted figures of the guardians outside Rajarani Temple. Odisha State Museum is a repository of Jain antiques, weaponry, and indigenous pattachitra paintings.

Bhubaneshwar, the capital of Odisha, is known as the temple city of India. The day trip includes visits to Lingaraj Temple, Muktesvara Temple, Rajarani Temple and Ananta Vasudeva Temple. After the tour, if time permits visit the Khandagiri & Udayagiri caves, which are partly natural and partly artificial caves of archaeological importance. Can also visit The State Museum, and the Botanical Garden .

Day 02 Bhubaneswar – Bhitarkanika

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel in Bhubaneswar and then you are driven to Bhitarkanika. Upon reaching, you will be escorted to the hotel. Once having freshened up, you will begin your excursions of the Exotic Tour of Odisha. Walk amidst nature in the Sanctuary and watch the endangered Saltwater Crocodiles in their natural habitat. Later on, return back to your hotel and enjoy a hearty dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03 Bhitarkanika

Once you have freshened up, enjoy a filling breakfast for the long day ahead. Explore the beauty of Bhitarkanika and enjoy a Boat Safari by the river surrounded by lush belts of mangrove trees. Watch serpents and birds such as Bramhani Kites, Eagles, Kingfishers and Egrets. Get off at Bagagahan Bird Sanctuary and climb the Watch Tower. Witness pelicans and numerous types of storks. Later on, her towards the Bhitarkanika Forest Block and take a look at the Old Temple, Hunting tower of past rulers and the Lotus Pond. You may spot wild boars, jungle cats and spotted deer. Afterwards, get to visit Dangmal Crocodile Breeding and Research center and look at crocodiles. Head back to your hotel for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04 Bhitarkanika – Bhubaneswar

After enjoying a filling breakfast, you will be driven back to Bhubaneswar. From there, you will be dropped to the airport/railway station to catch the flight/train for your next destination.
