Itinerary

Show details
Day 1: Haridwar Barkot by road (200kms/ 6-7hrs approx.) via visiting Mussoorie

Arrival from Haridwar railway or hotel and upon arrival you will meet our office representative and he will hand over all travel documents of your tour and later you will drive by road to Barkot en-route you will be visiting Mussoorie company Garden and Kempty fall.
After having lunch you will continue drive to Barkot and on arrival you will check-in you will check-in your hotel and rest of the day free at hotel. Barkot is located at over 4,000 ft and having scenic natural beauty at confluence of Yanumna and Ganga river . Here you will see orchards and stunning view of the snowcapped mountain.
Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 2: Barkot Yamunotri Barkot, 36km drive & 6 km trek (one way)

Post breakfast you will drive by road to Jankichatti/ Phoolchatti and from here you will have to a trek of 06kms (One way) either by walk or by a horse ride, or Doli at your own cost. You will pass through a lush green valley, deep and narrow valley, and mighty mountains.
Yamunotri is the sacred temple of River Yamuna and the most popular destination of Chardham yatra. Yamunotri is the source of the Yamuna River and the seat of the goddess Yamuna in Hinduism and it is situated 3293 meters above sea leave at Gharwal Himalayas valley. Champasar Glacier lies 01 km ahead of the Yamunotri shrine, which the actual origin of river Yamunotri.
Yamunotri is the first step of Chardham Yatra and Yamunotri temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and its open for tourists from April to October every year. According to Hindu mythology it was the home saint Asit Muni. This temple was built by Maharani Guleria of the Jaipur in the late 19th century. You will see here the hot water spring. Rice and potatoes are cooked by the pilgrim in hot water spring and served as Prasad. You can also have a warm bath in hot spring water. There is a rock pillar called Divya Shila just entering the temple and devotees also pay respect to this pillar. You can visit the temple and attend the prayer ceremony in the temple. After the lunch return back to Jankichatti/phoolchatti with a trek and from here you will drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 3: Barkot Uttarkashi by road (90km/4hr)

Post breakfast you will drive by road and drive to Uttarkashi. This is a beautiful town which is the home of the number of Ashrams and Temples. Uttarkashi meaning Kashi of north, as present Varanasi is known as Kashi and located on the bank of River Ganges, 170kms north from Rishikesh. It has a Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which is one of the oldest temples in India
On arrival, you will check-in your hotel and later visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple. This temple was re-constructed in 1857 in the ancient architectural style by the Maharani of Tehri.
Evening you take part in special Aarti in the Temple. Overnight at otel.

Day 4: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100km/3-4hrs one way)

Post breakfast, drive early to Gangotri for your same day excursion tour. On the way, you can stop at Gangnani, where you can take a bath in hot spring water, which is called as Garamkund. Enjoy your scenic drive through Harshil valley along with a panoramic view of snow-capped mountains and trees.
On arrival, you can have a holy dip in the sacred river the Ganges and then visit Gangotri Temple and after having the Darshan and you can perform Puja rituals in the temple premises. The beautiful temple was built on orders of the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th century. The Ganga river origin is Gaumukh, which is 19kms ahead from Gangotri and it is accessible by a trek only. Gangotri Glacier is the main source of River Ganges.
After visiting the Gangotri temple return back to Uttarkashi.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Uttarkashi - Guptkashi by road (220kms/ 7-8hrs aprox.)

Post breakfast check-out from your hotel and drive early morning to Guptakashi. You will be driven along the river Mandakini at Tilwara and enjoy the breath-taking view.
Guptkashi means “ Hidden Kashi” and it is said that Pandawas brothers were searching to Lord Shiva, who was hidden in Guptkashi. Guptkashi is quite a large town and it is located 50kms before from the holy shrine Kedarnath and its famous for its ancient house and temples.
On arrival, you will check-in your hotel and later you will be visiting Ardh Narishwar Temple, Kashi Vishwanath Temple and you can have a holy steam bath in Manikarnika Kund.
Rest of the day free at hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Guptkashi - Kedarnath (30km by road & 19km Trek)

Post breakfast, you will have a medical check-up and after the passing the medical check-up you will be driven by road to Sonprayag. From here you will have 19kms trek which can be cover by pony, palanquin, horse ride or walking. Here you will going through the beautiful village Gauikund and Rambhra Village.
On arrival you will check-in your hotel in Kedarnath. Kedarnath Temple is one the 12th Jyotirlinga of lord shiva. This small valley is covered from the snow capped mountains. It is said that it was built by 05 Pandavas
Later you will be visiting Kerdarnath Temple and evening enjoys the prayer ceremony at the temple.
Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 7: Kedarnath - Guptkashi (19 km trek down Trek & 30 km/1hr by road)

Early morning you can take a bath and participate in the Prayer called Abhishek to Lord Kedarnath. You can also visit some nearby temples and explore the surrounding area.
Post breakfast check-out from your hotel and proceed for 19kms down trek to Sonprayag. After reaching Sonprayag, you will be driven back to Guptkashi.
On arrival, you will check-in your hotel and rest of the day free at hotel.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 8: Guptkashi - Badrinath (215km/7hr-8hrs)

After breakfast, you will drive by road to Badrinath via visiting Joshimath. Joshimath is known for its Mutts, which are established by Adi Shankaracharya in the 08th century. You can also visit Narshima and Gaurishankar Temple and witness the sacred tree Kalpvriksha, which is said to be more than 1200 years old.
Later continue drive to Badrinath. Badrinath is the last destination of Char Dham yatra and located over 3100 meters above the sea level. Badrinath temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, it is only open for 06 months as similar to Dham from April to September.
On arrival, you will check-in your hotel and later proceed to the visit of Badrinath Temple. Before entering the temple it is very important to take a bath in Tapt Kund, which is natural spring water. It is also believed that the holy bath has medicinal values and can cure of skin allergies
Overnight stay in Badrinath hotel.

Day 9: Badrinath - Rudraprayag (160km/5-6hrs approx.)

Early morning you have a holy bath in Tapt Kund and proceed for the Darshan at the Badrinath Temple.
Post breakfast check-out from your hotel and drive to Rudraprayag r via Joshimath.
On arrival in Rudraprayag check in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10: Rudraprayag - Rishikesh - Haridwar (160km/5hr))

Morning breakfast at hotel and later check-out from your drive by road to Haridwar and en-route you will be the sacred city Rishikesh. If time permits you will have taken to popular tourist sites, like Laxman Jhula, Ram Juhula, Bharta Mata Mandira, Shanti Niketan, and Triveni Ghat.
After the city tour, you will be transferred to Haridwar Railway station in time for your train to onward destination.
