While the external and internal cycles deal with time, the alternatives systems are the practices for gaining liberation from these two. The traditional ancient ritual of Kalachakra involves chanting of prayers, creation of the sand mandala, meditations, dances, and vows - to bring world peace.

While travelling to India, please do consider the Kalachakra festival dates and enjoy this once- in-a-lifetime festival of Buddhism.
