The beaches and the drives along them are certainly among the most mesmerizing things of the city.

Varanasi is your next destination – the oldest known living city embellished with its own charm, ghats and religious and spiritual beliefs. The evening aarti at the Ghat of Dashashwamedh, the early morning boat ride by two of the most renowned ghatsManikarnika and Harishchandra and the visit to the ruined city of Sarnath are some of the experiences while you are exploring Varanasi, the city.

Kolkata is the cultural and commercial hub of the Eastern India.Get welcomed by the heritage building tour of places like Writer's Building, General Post Office, High Court, Raj Bhawan (Governor's House), Town Hall, Council House, Treasury Building, Reserve Bank of India and Dalhousie Square.

The last wing of the tour is in Bhutan exploring places like Paro, Punakhaand WangdueValley, and the capital city Thimphu.

Day 01 Arrive Mumbai

Welcome to Mumbai, India. Get transferred to your hotel as our representative receives you at the airport. Mumbai is the finance capital of India and the largest metropolitan city of the country famous for its extremes in lifestyle, food culture and job opportunities. Overnight in Mumbai.

Day 02 Mumbai

Your city sightseeing of Mumbai is scheduled up today which begins with the visit to the Gateway of India. Here, you will be taking a boat ride for a half day excursion to the Elephanta Caves (UNESCO World Heritage Site) about 10 km from the city harbor. Bollywood City visit is scheduled next in the afternoon followed by the Hanging Gardens and Kamla Nehru Park offering a panoramic view of the Chowpatty Beach and the Marine Drive. Mani Bhawan, Prince of the Wales Museum, Gateway of India and Dhobi Ghat are the major attractions driving across the Marine Drive, Flora Fountain and Crawford Market.Overnight in Mumbai.

Day 03 Mumbai

Start your morning with a visit to Asia’s largest slum -Dharavi slum area. Home to more than a million people, Dharavi Slum region is an unending stretch of narrow lanes and cramped huts. At around 10 am, you would be taken for Bollywood Tour for the next 5-6 hours. The trip includes visiting to the residences of the movie stars from outside, a tid-bit about sound production and visual post production workshop, and other technical aspects involved in making a cinema. Do drop by the sets of Bollywood movies at studios, as per schedules of shootings.Come back to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04 Mumbai to Varanasi (by flight)

Fly to Varanasi as you would be transferred to the airport to board your flight. Upon reaching Varanasi, get transferred to your hotel. Dating back to 5000 years, Varanasi is said to be the oldest living city in the world. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 05 Varanasi

Start your morning with a blissful boat ride in the River Ganges – by two of the most renowned ghatsManikarnika and Harishchandra. You will visit the Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, TulsiManasMandir, Banaras Hindu University and the Mosque of Moghul EmperorAurangazeb. In the evening, treat your eyes with the ceremonial Aarti to the River Ganges performed at the Ghat of Dashashwamedh by five priests. Enjoy the view before coming back to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 06 Varanasi

This day is scheduled for a half day tour to Sarnath – the buried Buddhist city. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple and the Museum to cover the first day of the day. In the evening, attend a cooking demo with an Indian family and have dinner with them before retiring to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07 Varanasi to Kolkata (by flight)

Get transferred to airport to board your flight to Kolkata. One of the most important commercial and cultural hubs of Eastern India, Kolkata has its own charm and class for you to explore along with the multiple colonial buildings and exotic monuments built during the British reign.

Day 08 Kolkata sightseeing

Start your day with a heritage building tour of places like Writer's Building, General Post Office, High Court, Raj Bhawan (Governor's House), Town Hall, Council House, Treasury Building, Reserve Bank of India and Dalhousie Square. Do pay a visit to St. John's Church - the oldest Anglican Church in Kolkata, and Victoria Memorial Musuem – with the largest collection of British colonial historical artifacts n India.

Day 09 Kolkata to Paro (by flight)

Reach Paro, where our guide and a driver would receive you to transfer to the hotel. Start your trip with a visit to the National Museum, followed by RinphungDzong (Monastery/Fortress), the 7thcentury KichuLhakhang (temple) and DungtseLhakhang containing some ancient murals.

Take a round of the picturesque town of Paro before retiring to your hotel for overnight.

Day 10 Paro to Punakha

Have your breakfast before starting off for a 2 hours drive till Dochula pass (3,050 m). Catch a glimpse of the beautiful city of Thimphu on the way. The mesmerizing view of the Eastern Himalayan peaks is a sight to behold. Cross the semi-tropical Punakha and WangdueValley and enjoy the changing vegetation and scenic beauty. After lunch, you will be taken to the 17th century PunakhaDzong and KhamsumYuley temple on Nyinzergang hill.

Return to Punakha for overnight stay.

Day 11 Drive to Thimphu

In Wangduephodrang, visit Richengang village before exploring the ChimiLhakhang temple, dedicated to Lama DrukpaKunley. Drive back 3 hours to Thimphu, and visit the spectacular Dochula Pass on the way. Late afternoon, you will be visiting TashichoDzong and the giant Buddha statue on Kuenselphodrang ridge.

Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Day 12 Thimphu

This day is dedicated to the capital of Bhutan. Start with Memorial Chorten, Takin Preserve,Zilukha nunnery, a Viewpoint, Traditional Art school and Indigenous Hospital. You will also visit the Textile Academy and Museum, the Farmer’s market, and ChanglimithangArchery Ground. Take a walk around the city streets and shop for souvenirs.

Overnight in Thimpu.

Day 13 Paro (Takstang Hike)

An hour drive to Paro would take you for a hike to the famous Taktsang (tiger’s nest) Monastery at 10,200ft. After a visit to this magical monastery clinging to a vertical granite cliff 1,000 feet above the valley floor, come back to Paro for a farewell dinner in the evening.

Overnight stay in hotel at Paro Valley.

Day 14 Departure

Have your breakfast before being transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
