Itinerary
After arriving at Cochin (also known as Kochi), our representative will help you get to your hotel. Embark upon a tour to Cochin. Known among the oldest parts of India, Cochin was established in 1341. A natural harbor, Kochi was composed by the famous underwater Malabar mud- banks. Its features claim that the rougher the sea on the outside, the calmer the water within the harbor. This port is closely related to the arrival of Vasco-da-Gama in India and owing to him, this port is famous all over the world. A wide range of Portuguese churches, mosques, Hindu temples, and architectural grace is enclosed within this antique port city. Also, enjoy watching the Chinese Fishing Nets. In the morning, leave for Kumarakom and after reaching there, check in at the hotel. Sitting on the eastern side of the far- expanding Vembanad Lake, Kumarakom is the charming village in the state of Kerala. This village is bestowed with the best of Mother Nature. The lake is a favorite of the tourists due to its activities like yachting, surf riding, boating, fishing, swimming, etc. The lake also harbors an island named as Pathiramanal (Midnight Sands) in the center.
