Day 01 Delhi

The trip begins with your arrival at the Delhi Airport from where you will be transferred to your hotel to spend the day at your leisure and overnight stay at the hotel. Delhi is one of the oldest cities of India and has witnessed change of many regimes over the centuries. Presently, Delhi is the national capital of India with the Government of India functioning from here. You can witness the impact of these different cultures through the various architectural marvels of the city. Another facet of life where the impact of the history of Delhi is visible is the culinary experiences that are on offer. People from different walks of life live together in this historic city with a milieu of different religions and traditions living life to the fullest. Delhi presents a perfect combination of the history and modernity with the small alleys of old Delhi keeping alive the traditions of the city while New Delhi keeps pace with the modern world.

Day 02 Delhi Excursion

Your second day in Delhi covers the major attractions of the city. The day tour of Delhi will start from Old Delhi which was constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the seventeenth century. You will visit Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. Thereafter, you will be taken to the museum dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi where you will be able to witness various relics and attractions dedicated to him. While travelling on to Jama Masjid, you will pass by two gems of Delhi, Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Red Fort is a famous monument constructed entirely out of red stone whereas Chandni Chowk is one of the busiest markets of Old Delhi. Once you reach Jama Masjid, you can not help but be blown over by the magnanimous structure of this historic site. It was built by Shah Jahan and is one of the biggest mosques in India. You can opt to enjoy a rickshaw ride through the narrow by lanes of Chandni Chowk which is pot-pourri of different flavours, colors and traditions. There are numerous shops here selling different types of articles like jewelry, dresses, food items, and much more. You can indulge in some shopping.

Thereafter, you will visit the historic Qutub Minar which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the tallest minaret in India which was constructed by Qutub-Ud-Din Aibak in the twelfth century. Thereafter, you will be taken to the Humayun’s Tomb, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a peaceful place where you can spend some peaceful moments marvelling at the majesticity of the place. Afterwards, you will visit the India Gate which is a war memorial dedicated to the soldiers who laid their lives for the protection of the nation from enemies. On your way to the Lakshmi Narayan Temple, you will pass by the Parliament House, President’s House and other important government buildings. When you will reach the Lakshmi Narayan temple, you will pay obeisance to the ruling deity of the temple i.e. Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Narayana (Vishnu). In the evening you will return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03 Delhi to Jaipur

Next morning, you will start your journey towards Jaipur. It will take around four hours to cover the distance between Delhi and Jaipur. Once you reach Jaipur, you will check-in to the hotel and can spend the entire day at your leisure with overnight stay at the Hotel. Jaipur is another historic city of India which was built in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh, after whom the city has been named. Jaipur is also known as the pink city because when the Prince of Wales arrived here, the entire city was coloured pink in his honour. It is a popular tourist destination as it houses many historical forts and palaces, as well as offers amazing shopping experiences.

Day 04 Jaipur City Tour

The day will be dedicated to the exploration of the major attractions of Jaipur. The day tour will start from your visit to the historic Amer Fort, which is also known as the Amer Palace and used to be the capital of Jaipur in old days. There are various attractions inside the fort that you must explore such as Temple of Goddess Sila Devi, Diwan-E-Aam, Diwan-E-Khas, Sheesh Mahal, Sukh Niwas and several others. You will be blown over by the spectacular architecture of the place. Thereafter, you will be taken to the Maharaja City Palace. It is a famous viewpoint and the main attraction here is the seven-storied residence of the royal family that is a perfect amalgamation of various styles of architecture. You will also visit the famous pink rose garden and the main markets of Jaipur. Indulge in shopping for various things the city is famous for including jewelry, carpet, gemstones, miniatures, textiles etc. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05 Jaipur to Agra

In the morning, you will start from Jaipur for your onward journey to Agra. Along the way, you will visit two famous place, Abhaneri and Fatehpur Sikri. Abhaneri is located approximately 95 km from Jaipur and is famous for Harshat Mata Temple and Chand Baori Step-well. Chanda Baori step-well is one of the biggest stepwells in India and was used to store water during olden days to meet the requirements during summers. The famous Harshat Mata Temple is located right in front of this step-well. You will be impressed with the marvellous architecture of this place.

Fatehpur Sikri is another famous place for tourists as it is home to various historic monuments that are famous for their architecture. This place is located very close to the Agra city. Once you reach Agra, you will proceed to your Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure and rest overnight at the Hotel.

Day 06 Agra city tour and onwards journey to Delhi

In the morning, you will be taken on a city tour of Agra. The city tour will start with a visit to the famous Taj Mahal. It is one of the wonders of the world and is a famous mausoleum that was constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal and is considered as symbol of their love. Taj Mahal is made out of white marble and is an absolutely amazing spectacle. Thereafter, you will visit the famous Agra Fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is another architectural marvel that houses various attractions like Jahangir Place, KhasMahal, Diwan-e-Aam, and Diwan-e-Khaas. Thereafter you can visit the famous markets of Agra and buy some souvenirs and handicrafts.
