Here you will get a chance to explore the most famous Buddhist pilgrim’s sites in India and Nepal like Sarnath, Bodhgaya, Kushinagar, Sravasti, and Lumbini. Here you will cover four major sites of Buddhism; Lumbini is a birthplace of Buddha and attained Enlightenment in Bodhgaya, Sarnath where he preached the first time and Kushinagar where he achieved Parinirvana.

Day 1: Arrival Delhi Airport

Upon arrival your arrival at Delhi Airport you will meet to our airport representative and he will assist you to transfer from Airport to your pre-booked hotel. He will also handover all your travel documents and will brief you about tour and services.

Day 2: Delhi - Agra by road (240kms/5-6hrs) via visiting Mathura and Vrindavan

Post breakfast drive by road to Agra. En-route you will be visiting the sacred town of Lord Krishna Mathura and Vrindavan. Here you will be visiting the Banke Bihari Temple, Prem Mandir, Shri Krishna Janma Bhumi. Later continue drive to Agra and visit Sikandra before your check-in. Sikandra is the Tomb is Mughal emperor Akbar and it is an important architectural masterpiece. It was built by his son Jahangir.
On arrival, you will check-in your hotel and the rest of the day free.

Day 3: Agra - Varanasi by overnight Train

Early morning during the sunrise you will be taken to visit the Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is a seven wonders of the world and it was built by Shahjanhan in the memory of his queen Mumtaj Mahal.
Agra Fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its architectural structure and was built in the 16th century during the Mughal Empire. This place includes several fairytale palaces like Khas Mahal and Jahangir Palace. Here you will also have the opportunity to see Diwan-e-Aam and Diwan-e-Khas, which are also known as private courtroom and public courtroom.
Later you can visit Mahtab bagh. It is beautiful Mughal garden, which is located backside of Taj Mahal opposite toYamuna river.
Later in the evening you will be transfer to Agra railway station in time for your train to Varanasi.

Day 4: Arrival Varanasi railway station and excursion of Sarnath

On your arrival from Varanasi railway station, you will be transfer to your hotel and relax for some time.
Post breakfast you will have half day excursion tour of Sarnath. Sarnath has very interesting remains which consist of ancient stupas, temples and monasteries. The stupas Dharmarajika, Chaukhandi and Dharnek are exceptional. The beautifully polished lion capital of Ashoka is also very fascinating to see. There is a rich library in Sarnath with a Mula Gandha Kutir Vihara where you can see excellent frescoes by Kosetsu Nosu. In Sarnath, you can also visit the Sarnath Museum which contains some of the fine specimens of Buddhist sculpture.
After visiting Sarnath return back to Varanasi and follow city tour. We take you for a city tour by visiting the famous Hindu university Benaras and the Bharat Mata temple. At the Hindu University of Benaras, interact with university students in an interactive seminar led by the University. Bharat Mata temple, offer the puja to the deity of the temple. Also take a stroll through the narrow streets of Varanasi.
Evening you can attend the prayer ceremony on the river Ganges.

Day 5: Varanasi - Bodhgaya by road ( 250kms/ 5-6hrs approx.)

Early in the morning, we take you for a boat trip to the Ganges where you can see the sunrise. Also, consider taking a bath during the boat ride as this was possible on an extended platform of the boat by the sailor of the boat.
Post breakfast drive by road to Bodhgaya. This is one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage destinations. Here Gautam Budhha attained supreme knowledge under a banyan tree.
On your arrival, you will check-in your hotel and later follow the city tour of Bodhgaya like Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, and Great Buddha statue. You can also visit the various other Buddhist Temples in Bodhgaya. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Bodhgaya - Khusinagar by road (320kms/ 6-7hrs approx.)

Post breakfast drive early to Khushinagar. Khushinagar is an important tourist destination of Buddhist sector, which is located 320kms north from Bodhgaya. It is place where Gautama Buddha attained Parinirvana after his death.
On arrival you will check-in your hotel.

Day 7: Kushinagar - Lumbini by road (160kms /4-5hrs approx.)

Post breakfast you will visit the important tourist palace in Khushinagar. First, you will be taken to Parinirvana temple, here you will see the reclining Nirvana statue of Gautam Buddha, which is 06.10 meters long and is made by monolith red stone. Next, you will visit Nirvana stupa which is just located behind of Parinirvana temple. Then you will be taken to Rambhar Stupa which is a cremation place of Gautam Budhha, after paying homage you will be visiting various temple-like Indo-Japan-Srilanka temple, Tai Wat temple, and Burmese temple.
After lunch, you will drive by road Lumbini, which is located 160kms north in Nepal. While reaching Indo – Nepal border you need to take the visa and complete immigration formalities. After taking the Nepal visa you will continue drive to Lumbini. On arrival, you will check-in your hotel. Lumbini is a very important Buddhist pilgrim destination and it is considered the birthplace of Gautam Budha.
Rest of the day free at hotel.

Day 08 : Lumbini City tour

Post breakfast you will have a full day city tour of Lumbini and you will visit the sacred garden of the Mayadevi temple which considers the birth of Lord Buddha and later shows the Ashok pillar and the Sakyan reservoir. Later you will be visiting other important tourist places like Bodhi tree, Mayadevi pond, World peace pagoda, Lumbini Museum, Royal Thai Buddhist monasteries, and Korean temple and many more.

Day 9: Lumbini - Sravasti (160kms/ 4-5hrs apprrox.)

Post breakfast drive by road to Sravasti, which was the ancient capital of Kosala Kingdom. Pilgrims pay homage to the holy town because it is here that Lord Buddha performed the Tirthika heretics.
On arrival, you will check-in your hotel and later visit Jetavana, which is one the most famous Buddhist monasteries, spend here some time for meditation and know more about the Buddhism. Next, you will visit Anand Bodhi tree. Later you will be taken to Mahamangaljay Temple, which has a giant golden statue of Lord Buddha.
Overnight Sravasti

Day 10: Sravasti - Lucknow by road (180kms/ 4-5hrs approx.)

Post breakfast drive to Lucknow and on arrival you will check-in your hotel. Later follow half day city tour of Lucknow including Bara Imambara, Chota Imambara, Rumi Darwaza, Amebedkar memorial park.
Evening you can visit local market for shopping.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Lucknow – Delhi by flight

Post breakfast check-out from your hotel transfer to Lucknow airport in time for your flight to Delhi, On arrival you from Delhi Airport you will stay in transit, will catch another flight to your home country.
