Arrive at the airport where our representative would receive you and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. The day is for leisure, but you may go out for shopping and exploring the local street foods. Overnight at hotel.

Finish your breakfast and head towards for a full day city excursion of Ahmedabad. The first destination is Gandhi Ashram, also known as the Sabarmati Ashram. The place was one of the many residences of Mahatma Gandhi who lived here for a total of twelve years along with his wife Kasturba Gandhi and followers including Vinoba Bhave. The Bhagavad Gita was recited here daily, as part of the Ashram schedule. The Ashram was built as recognition of Gandhi’s Dandi March (Salt Satyagraha) on 12th March 1930.

Hutheesing Jain Temples are another place of interest which is also known as the Jain temple, constructed in 1848. The temple is dedicated to Lord Dharmanatha, the fifteenth Jain Tirthankar. The temple was built during a severe famine in Gujarat. Building the temple employed hundreds of skilled artisans which supported them for a period of two years.

Adalaj Stepwell is a stepwell located in the Adalaj village, which was built in 1498 in the memory of Rana Veer Singh (the Vaghela dynasty of Dandai Des), by his wife Queen Rudadevi. It is a fine example of Indian architecture work.

Once visited these and few more, you will be taken to Gandhinagar, the twin city of Ahmedabad and the current capital city of Gujarat. The main place to explore is the Akshardham Temple. Akshardham is a large Hindu temple complex inspired by Yogiji maharaj, the fourth spiritual successor of Lord Swaminarayan. The complex was built over 13 years and is a tribute to Lord Swaminarayan and his life and teachings. At the center of the 23-acre complex is the Akshardham Temple, which is built from 6,000 metric tons of pink sandstone from Rajasthan.
Spend the afternoon in shopping and at leisure.

Have your breakfast before heading towards Rajkot. On the way, visit Virpur Temple for “darshan” (sight). The temple is better known as Jalaram Bapa Mandir that was built in the memory of the Hindu saint. The shrine is actually the housing complex where Jalaram lived during his lifetime. The shrine houses the belongings of Jalaram and the deities of Rama, Sita, Lakshmana and Hanuman worshipped by him. It also has on display the Jholi and Danda said to be given to him by God, however the main attraction is the portrait of Jalaram Bapa.

Reach Rajkot in the evening, and check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Get driven to Somnath in the morning and check-in at the hotel. Somnath is mainly visited for the Somnath Temple which is believed to be the first among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. It is an important pilgrimage and tourist spot of Gujarat.

You will be driven to the Somnath Temple darshan at 3pm (10 km drive).

Return to the hotel for overnight stay. Please note that the hotel is a basic and budget hotel, hence expect the basic amenities only.

After breakfast, head towards Dwarka by road, and on the way visit Porbander. Porbandar is best known as the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Kirti Mandir, Planetarium, Porbander Bird Sanctuary and Bharat Mandir are few of the places to visit.

Reach Dwarka in the evening, and check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.

This day is dedicated to a full-day visit to different temples at Dwarka. Gomti Ghat has a number of small shrines dedicated to the Samudra (God of the Sea), Saraswati and Lakshmi. Other notable temples in the ghat area include the Samudra Narayana (Sangam Narayana) temple, which is at the confluence of the Gomti River with the sea, the Chakra Narayana temple where there is a stone with an imprint of a chakra as a manifestation of Vishnu, and the Gomati temple, which has an idol of the river goddess Gomati that is said to have been brought to earth by the sage Vasishta.

The Rukmini Devi Temple, dedicated to Rukmini, Krishna's chief queen, is located 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) away from Dwarka. The temple is said to be 2,500 years old, but in its present form it is estimated to belong to the 12th century. It is a richly carved temple decorated with sculptures of gods and goddesses on the exterior with the sanctum housing the main image of Rukmini. Carved naratharas (human figures) and carved gajatharas (elephants) are depicted in panels at the base of the tower.

Later, visit to Bet Dwarka or Shankhodhar – an inhabited island at mouth of Gulf of Kutch situated 3 km (2 mi) off the coast of Okha, Gujarat, India. The island is measured northwest to southeast in 13 km (8 mi) with an average 4 km (2 mi) in east-west direction. It is a strip of sand and stone situated 30 km (19 mi) north of town of Dwarka.

Come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

The trip comes to an end. Depart from Dwarka or get transferred to Jamnagar Airport to connect flight to Mumbai for return or onwards journey.
