Day 01 : Arrive Mumbai Airport

Upon arrival at Bombay airport, our airport representative will be available to welcome you and he will assist you from Airport to your pre-booked hotel in bombay and will brief you about your tour program.
Rest of the day free at hotel or if time permit you can explore tourist palaces with your own.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Mumbai- Full day city tour of Bollywood city

After breakfast explore the Bombay city.
Today you will be transferred to the Gateway of India. Here you will embark a boat for a half day excursion to Elephanta Caves. The Caves on Elephanta Island located in the Arabian Sea; about 10 km from the Mumbai Harbor are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The caves dating back to the 5th to the 8th century AD are divided into five Hindu caves dedicated to Shiva and two Buddhist caves.
The caves are closed on Monday.
This afternoon you will be visiting this Bollywood city. Tour of Mumbai will take you to the Hanging Gardens located on the beautiful slopes of the Malabar Hills as well as Kamla Nehru Park offering a marvelous and panoramic view of the Chowpatty Beach as well as the Marine Drive. You will continue your tour and taken to Mani Bhawan, Prince of the Wales Museum, Gate of India and Dhobi-Ghat and will drive through Marine Drive, Flora Fountain and Crawford market.

Day 03 : Mumbai – Cochin by morning flight & Cochin – Periyar by road (150kms/ 4-5hrs approx.)

After breakfast check-out from your hotel and you will be transfer to Bombay airport in time for your flight to Cochin. On arrival from Cochin Airport you will be transfer by road to Periyar.
Periyar is famous as an Elephant and Tiger Reserve and shelters various animals like Bengal Tiger, Indian elephant, wild boar, sambar, tiger, leopard, wild dog, langur, monkeys, etc. It has an abundance of birds and plants. A boat ride in the Periyar Lake gives you the possibility of watching the different animals The Park is surrounded by various plantation regions for coffee, tea, etc. and a visit to these plantations is a worth.
Upon arrival you will check-in your hotel and rest of the day free at hotel.

04 : Periyar – Kumarakom by road (110kms/ 3-4hrs approx.)

Early morning you will have a common boat ride at Periyar National Park.
It is one of the popular national parks in India; during the boat ride, you will be able to spot lots of wild animals near to the Periyar lake. This park is the host of many wild animals such as tiger, Elephant, Sambhar, Wild pig, and many other animals and birds.
After breakfast you will follow a guided tour spice plantation- here you will get wide ranges of spices like cardamom, pepper, Cloves, and Cinnamon and their uses in different dishes.
Later continue drive to Kumarakom en-route visit Tea estate garden.
Kumarakom is located on the bank Vembanad lake and it’s famous for backwaters tours and the number of a luxury tourist resorts and hotels, which offers different types of activities to their guest such as kayaking, boat ride, cycling, spa and rejuvenate package and traditional Ayurvedic massages. . Kumarakom is also known for its backwaters, (lagoons and canals), its delicious cuisine and its rice and coconut palm countryside.
On arrival you will check-in your hotel and rest of the day free at hotel.

Day 05 : Kumarakom – Alleppey Houseboat by boat

Morning breakfast at hotel.
Later you will be visiting Kumarakom bird sanctuary, which is the homes of many species of birds and during the winter you can spot some migratory birds as well.
Later check-out and you will be board on a rice houseboat and will be doing backwater cruise tour. The Kerala backwaters are a network of large lakes linked by canals and fed by rivers. The backwaters are formed because of the waves and shore currents creating low barrier islands. Here you will board a houseboat in Kerala’s backwaters. The charm of staying a night in the houseboats known as kettuvallam in the backwaters is great. These boats were used to ferry the grain. Thatched roof covers provide protection from the sun and rain. The boats are like floating cottages with a sleeping area, toilets, dining area and a sit out on the deck. The food is cooked on board by staff.

Day 06 : Houseboat – Marari by road (20kms/30 minutes)

Breakfast on houseboat and later disembark from houseboat and Mararikulam.
Mararikulam a beach village is known for its very beautiful beach known as Marari Beach or Mararikulam beach. It is one of the most beautiful beach destinations in India and was rated as one of the world’s top five hammock beach by National Geographic survey. Mararikulam the sleepy little village is about 11 kms from Alappuzha and is an idyllic location for a vacation.

Day 07 : Marari- Day free

Full day at leisure for own activities and enjoy the facilities of the Resort.

Day 08 : Marari – Cochin by road (70kms/ 2-3hrs approx.)

After breakfast check-out from you hotel and follow the city tour.
During the tour of Kochi, you will be taken to some of the renowned spots of Kochi that will include the Portuguese churches, mosques and temples along with the Jewish synagogue. You will be taken to watch the Chinese style fishing nets which are mostly seen in Kerala. It holds around 10m of height and consists of cantilever along with an outstretched net that is suspended in the sea and one huge stone suspended on other end with ropes for the counterweights. Every installation of this fishing-net gets operated by group of six fishermen.
Afternoon harbor cruise tour in Cochin for 30 minutes.

Later in the evening enjoy the Kathakali Dance show in Cochin auditorium.

Day 09 : Cochin – Mumbai by flight

After breakfast check-out from your hotel and transfer to Cochin Airport in time for your flight to Bombay. On arrival you will stay in transit and will catch another flight to onwards journey.
